Remarks :

Once college administrative increase the admission fee a lot. Then due to protest they make favorable increase admission fee with some facilities.

Entrance Preview :

GATE, 1000. Its a nice college than other college. Here is nice infrastructure and greenish also.'

Course Curriculum Overview :

Nice Curriculum. All courses are related to the Industrial Process. And helpful to the campus selection process. All students are enjoying with there course nicely.

Internships Opportunities :

Here internship projects are available. students are coming from different organization to do internship here. This institute cerificate is very valuable in outside. General stipend is 12000.

Placement Experience :

More than 90 percent student are hired by different esteemed organization in all research sector and public sector. Alumni of this organization are spreading throughout the world.

College Events :

Throughout the year so many studious events are going on here. All cultural activity are showing here. Tech feast, Spring Feast are very interesting here.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Feasible-depending on there facilities. But at the same time we can call as a expensive due to general family capability. Overall fee structure is nice.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For extraordinary student, the director can exempt all academic fee and avail all facilities except messing. Here college can allow to give loan to their student through state bank of India, which is inside the campus.

Campus Life :

Campus life is best life. here are are free to enjoy their life. Extracurricular, labs, sports, competitions such as robotics, debates etc.are very nicely organized here.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities are fabulous. Nice messing and gym facility are there. all night canteen is available in each hostel.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni network is very strong here. Alumni are very responsible for campus drive here. Senior students also cooperative in nature. Ragging is ban here. Senior mostly helping in nature.

Exam Structure :

Very good. Here there is very strict examination arrangement. There is separate examination control center.

Faculty :

Very nice and selective qualified in a specific courses. All are using power point presentation teaching. All are PhD/PDF from primer institutes. All young faculty are very energetic and world class professor.

Mtech at VSSUT, Burla

Remarks:

Based on my Gate score, I opted this college. Since my requirement was a core branch and my future objective was to pursue a PhD so I went for this college where we had the flexibility to work on our domain with regular stipend from AICTE for Gate qualified students.

Admission:

No we were selected on th basis of our Gate score and academic credentials. Someone who doesn't have a valid Gate score could get admission without stipend provided that they have a sound academic career.

Placement Experience:

The average placement here is decent but the highest package always amazes us. This time it was 21 LPA which is pretty good. Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th semester. Talking about the companies, you won't get to see companies like Google and Microsoft but companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant and Capgemini do visit the campus and offer pretty good packages.

A completely different world with every bit of spice in it.

Remarks:

As a pass out, all I can say is my 4 year in my UG college was nothing compared to my 2 year stay in NIT Rourkela. I made memories I will never forget, made friends for life, learnt from these genius professors and passed those goddamn exams! If you ask me to give ratings to this college, I will give 10 stars for the memories. Academics was strict as hell, we get lesser time for fun. But that made those fun times, precious.
