The college's way of handling things sometimes can be very rigid and too much work.
Placement and training cell's lack of punctuality.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The 2nd years project was really learning lesson for future project experiences and help from guidance and working under pressure situations. The first year course syllabus and really vast and good. Though improvements are required for practical implementation of each subject.

Class Size : 40Course Fees : INR 235000 per year

Placement Experience :

Though placements are guaranteed and are provided, but the placements do not match career goals for every student. After this degree I plan to take course to expand my programming knowledge and learn and grow More.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Pre admission:- 75,000/- (For personal laptop and other equipments) 1st year (1st and 2nd semester) : 2,37,000/- 2nd year (3rd and 4th semester) : 2,37,000/- Exam fees per semester:- 1,000/- Registration fees per semester:- 600/-

Campus Life :

Campus Life was good, full of enjoyment, different functions and exposure to different co curricular activities and even course related hackathons and quizes. Other than this many other fests, and presentations.

Admission :

There was an entrance exam for this college. I chose this college for its reputation and placement process and placement guarantee. I had other colleges in option but this college is the best in the town and really reputed one.

Faculty :

There are a total of 40 students divided into 4 branches: CSE, SE, DA, IT. Each branch has an average of 10 students. For each branch there are assigned 5 teachers assigned. 1 teacher for each subject. And in the second year, each student is allowed to choose a guide faculty for themselves, for project and career help and guidance. Total we have 2 semesters in the first year, each semester has 10 exams for 5 subjects in the first year, 5 internal exams of 20 marks, and 5 semester exams 40 marks. Then we have assignments of 20 marks and practical of 20 marks In the second year, we have 2 semester, each semester has 2 ppt presentations.

Overall the college is very good in every aspect. The college environment is superb and it is eco friendly. The fees is little high here. Other things I like everything. Entrance Preview:

GATE-35/100. It is one of the prestigious college in India and Campus placements are also very good in this college, That's why I preferred this college.

Admission:

Through GATE-2011. Filling the priority of the branches through online. After few days I got the Branch in Rourkela as per my gate score, Then I confirmed the obtained branch, After that the documents verification and finally joined the college. Then I had been allotted to one boys hostel.

I have cleared GATE 2013. Through GATE I took admission here as a M.tech student. There is the facility of stipend 8000 per month. Hostel fee and admission fee are very cheap.

GATE qualified i choose NIT RKL because it has a great reputation i had choosen geotechnical engineering as my M.Tech branch i did my B.Tech in civil engineering and M.Tech in geotech engg i have submitted my project on rock mechanics.
