Remarks :

If any student have any problem they can approach management they will respond quickly to solve your problems, if they can't solve they will at least suggest you with a solution.

Entrance Preview :

I wrote GATE entrance exam and I got 91% i choose this college because it course structure and labs are very good for embedded systems. There is no interview, seats will be allocated based on merit.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course structure is very good, it is designed very nice to meet the industrial standards. We have to choose electives in third and fourth semester. Electives are there for both subjects and Labs.

Internships Opportunities :

There is stipend for all the people who joined thought GATE college is not providing any internship directly but they make arrangement to get internship in companies which is very good experience for students.

Placement Experience :

90% of the people are placed every year and it's increasing every year few companies in which students placed are mistral solutions PVT. Ltd. with a package of 2.8, VVDN with a package of 2.4. Other companies didn't came to campus interview but students went to interview and placed in companies like Atmel, Bosch, Einfochips and many more.

College Events :

Every year on onam there will be big celebrations with lot of events in which whole college will participate and there will be a technical fest every year for three days in which students from other colleges can also participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The course fee is around 60000 per year, it's little expensive compared to other colleges but it is worth for the labs and facilitates they are providing the total fee has to be paid at once.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship is available for GATE students college is not providing and loan facility but if required anyone can take education loan from banks.

Campus Life :

Campus life is good, as college is out of city there is no noise, you see greenery everywhere and all are friendly there are no politics, no racesism and no ragging.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel rooms are shared by three people they are very species, each student will be given a separate table, chair and a cot with bed. Boys and girls hostels are separate. Unfortunately there is no food facility available in boys hostel but there are near by hotels which provide food three times a day few students stay in rooms near by college.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Juniors can approach seniors for any doughts, they are very interactive i approached them before my admission for clearing my regarding course structure, exam and placements.

Exam Structure :

There will be three exams every semester, two minor exams and one main exam. Minor exams will be conducted by lectures and main exam paper will be set by calicut university.

Faculty :

Faculty and standards of college are excellent, most of the lectures are scientists they are very patent to explain each and every dought of students lab facility's are very good.

"Beyond Books:A review of life at IIIT Kottayam"

Placement Experience:

As mentioned in the starting college average package is somewhere around 14 LPA. Students are eligible to campus placement from 6th or 7th semester.They will also give 3-4 months holidays for doing internship. Highest package is 58.93 LPA and average package is 14.32 LPA. Internship and recruiters are like- Amazon,Nissan,IBM, Bosch,Infosys, TCS,jio , Wipro , suntech. last year 80% students are placed and this year 100% students are placed. My plans may be getting job of course.
