Remarks :
Management is really nice they are very friendly with the students and finally I was to see I am really loving my life in iit Delhi.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course Structure is not good, as I believe there are some loop holes in the course structure, more practical based classes should be arranged, especially in first year of the college, from second year years are very relative and research based I think so.
Placement Experience :
Placement of iit Delhi is really nice also there are 70 percentage of the students got placement and institute have a placement cell for placement management, many companies visit iit Delhi like Google, Microsoft, Oracle, drdo, isro, ntpc, Goldman Sachs, airtel, flipkart, Amazon and etc.
College Events :
There are many cultural and technical fest that are celebrated every year and also there are many different types of arrangementade on special festival like diwali and holi or I'd and technical and cultural are very big in terms of budget and as far as I knew they are one of the biggest on the Asia.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
I believe it's very expensive, I most say they provide a very good services but afterall it's a government funded institute, so I believe they should cut down fee, they provide cut down for other backward classes and SC and ST category students and admission is based on rank so by paying additional money you can't get admission.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I have opted for loan through Varalakshmi portal which is start by government for higher studies especially for institutions like IITs, aiims, IIM.
Campus Life :
Currently in iit Delhi girl:boy ratio is 17:100, I believe that's very less, yes there are alot of workshop and sports competition and quiz and there is also robotics club and debate club is also there which conduct debate on social issue on a regular basis.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes, hostel rooms are not so good and also they are not air conditioned and mostly rooms are sharing, for undergraduate there is availability of room for very student but I don't have any idea about PG students.
Alumni/Alumna :
As I knew iit Delhi has a strong alumni network and almost every year there is alumni meet held, my senior are really helpful and they are very friendly.
Admission :
I got admission through iit jee advance, I wanted to an engineer as I so sure to do this from class 8 and finally got chemical engineering in iit Delhi. as chemistry was my favourite subject so I choose chemical engineering rather than civil or biotechnology.
Faculty :
I believe some lecture are very good and some are very booring it depends on professor, the age of professor come in range of 30-50 and normally all are phd and almost all lecture contain industry based knowledge and I believe this is most beautiful thing in IITs structure.
