Few hostels are old and mess food is really bad and we don't have non veg in mess.
Course Curriculum Overview :
We have thouree exams in a semester minor 1 minor 2 and major we have them in around one month intervals. We also have assignments and project. It's quite relevant to course and research driven. It provides lots of knowledge to the students which help us in securing on campus placements and we do have industrial viisits.
Placement Experience :
The main period of the arrangement season at IIT Delhi started on December 1, 2019 and endured till December 13, 2019. The establishment got more than 960 offers, including 187 PPOs. 400 or more associations visited the grounds that extended more than 600 employment opportunity profiles. College Events :
First we have rendezvous the cultural fest which is one largest college fest of Delhi. We have crowd from all colleges in IIT Delhi. The fest last around 4 days and each day we have promote which have quite amazing performances, leaving that we have programs going on all day long. It happens around September. Then we have our technical fest in March which quite enormous as well. We also have sportech which take place at the same time which our sports fest which is also great.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Feasible because a lot of schemes available and there not any excess fees. Yeah the institution provide transparent fees structure. the college accept every mode of payment. A semester cost around one lakh 20 thousands registered fees. The college is quite transparent in fee breakdown.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I don't have any scholarships or loans but you can pretty easily get that in IIT Delhi and there are lot of scheme available for helping students.
Campus Life :
Gender ratio is pretty much screwed 18% female Only. We do have parties in hostel and they're lot of fun but alcohol is not allowed in parties and sometimes some students resist parties because of loud noises. We have a lot of student diversity students come from every part of India, everyone is quite open minded here. We do have a lot of extra curricular activities students have the opportunity to try everything and are pushed by the IIT to try it you have every activity club just name it and you'll find it here and they're quite good.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes I have opted for hostel. The hostel is allocated randomly thourough softwares some of the hostel are old in poor condition while some hostel are new. We have sharing of rooms a room is shared by 2-3 students in the beginning at the last year we have our individual room.
Alumni/Alumna :
Seniors are really nice and helpful and we have a good alumni interaction opportunities. They gives a lot of tips and tricks.
Admission :
First we have clear jee main than we have to clear jee advanced, after that josaa counselling which was very tiring and confusing. Chemical engineering seems to have a good scope as we require new materials for different purposes in future need that's why I chose this course. I chose this college because it's the best engineering college of our country and it has a really good exposure.
Faculty :
We have really good faculty at IIT Delhi and in a day we have to attend 3-4 lectures of 1-1.5 hours which is quite detailed. Professors are available to clear the doubts of lectures. The faculty at IIT Delhi is quite the best faculty they're the experts of their feilds.
