Remarks :

IIT is very prestigious institute. It was an wonderful experience to be a part of iit eco system. We make some lifelong good friends. Know much more about opportunities in our fields. It take 2 year of my life but gives a life long experience in personal and as well as academical life.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course structure in IIT well structured and they offer advanced course for the student who are interested in further studied. Some days are very hactic with lot of classes. IIT KGP do focuse in experimental works.

Placement Experience :

IIT KGP is a technical institute. All big companies like Amazon Google facebook came here for placement. IIT KGP also provide internship programs for interested student. The amount varies depending on where student goes for internship.

College Events :

Our institute celebrate two main event. One is cultural fest called spring fest anthor one is tech fast call khsitije. In spring feat many event held like, nukkar natak, dance show, singing competitions. And is tech fest event like robo war, flight race held. Others College also tech part in thise fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Anul fee is nearly 300k rs. For B. Tech student and 100k rs for master student. Those amounts included tuition fee, hostel accommodation, mess fee, hostel establishment charge. IIT KGP weekly premear a movie for which they take 100 for 6 month

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For economy poor section of student, our institute waves mejor porion of anual fee. Bank also provide student loan. The interest of loan is negligible in academic year. Student can easily repay it when they got placed.

Campus Life :

For gender ratio it 88:12 for male to female. Anual sports held on each year with many game like cricket football hockey badminton etc. There is discrimination base on gender cast. Student usually dont take part in active politics.

Hostel Facilities :

Our institute is a residential complete. Here hostel accommodation is mandatory. Hostel fee is included in total annual fee. There are two type of room. One is single bed per room another is multiple sharing bad per room. Ecah hostal has sport ground and book shop and cantien facilities. There is no option for PG is histel. For family mamber guest house is available.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Senior are very helpful. Ther provide us notes. Informa us abount opportunities in our field. Some times ther clear our doubts. There is also a alumni network, which provide information about opening job post and internship.

Admission :

Iam always interest in Basis Science. I do my graduation in physics. For post graduation IIT offer very well structured courses. To entrance exam called JAM and it is a all india based exam. I secure good rank on this exam and got chance in IIT KGP.

Faculty :

Faculties are one of the best in india. They are very approachable as well. They tech us recent discovery which is beyond our syllabus. Extra dobut clear class held. Some teachers take exam in each week to see our performance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very well planned which does a great job in bringing out the best of the students. They are designed thoughtfully so that it becomes easier of students to decide their future prospects. The exams are moderately tough. If one follows the lectures and attends classes regularly and study with dedication it is very much possible to ace the exams. Although one thing is a bit concerning for the students is the duration of the semesters. Such huge syllabus becomes a bit challenging for the students to cover up inthe time allotted for each semesters. But the teachers do their best to guide the students to excel in the exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love mathematics from school level. I wished to student this subjet in future and after scoring good in class 12 I took decision to study mathematics from krishnagar government college. Teachers made it easy to chose to study msc then. In msc semester exams after 4/5 months are really difficult to study, but you have to compromise with situation ,nothing to do.

My life at IIT Kharagpur

Placement Experience:

Students typically become eligible for campus placements from the penultimate semester of their program. For undergraduate students, this is usually the seventh semester, and for graduate students, it could be the third semester. Google, Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Infosys, TCS. General Electric, Siemens, Tata Motors, Larsen & Toubro. Top tech companies like Google and Microsoft typically make around 5-10 offers each. Finance firms like Goldman Sachs can make 10-15 offers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen this course as I want to study and deeply learn all the concepts of zoology in a post-graduation level. I also aimed that after my post-graduation, my participation in undergoing various training programmes, jobs, internship opportunities, and ventures would open for me. There were six faculty members and one lab attendant in my department. Out of which, two were associate professors and four were assistant professors. The faculty:student ratio was 11:3. The qualification of the faculty members was that four of them had completed their BSc, MSc, BEd, and PhD degree in their subjects. Two of them had completed their BSc, MSc, and BEd degree. All the professors had taken revision classes after completing each chapter/module. Surprise tests were also conducted before the final semester examinations. All the odd semester exams (1st and 3rd) and even semester exams (2nd and 4th) were held timely across the year. It was difficult to pass as the syllabus was lengthy and hard.

There are 4 semister for any subject. After one semester clear then you directly enter next semester and pay semester fees. In my class there are 10 teacher for 25 students. For any semester you atleast get the pass marks i.e 35% . Then you eligible for next semester.

Placements opportunity are actually very good in this college. For UG-courses, students are eligible from the 5th semester and for PG courses, from the 3rd semester onwards, they are eligible for on-campus placements. Many good companies visit campus. The University Provides Placements options for the students from the 3rd Semester onwards. For the Department of Geography Companies like - GeoDesign and Research PVT.
