As I was from applied psychology department there was not souch opportunities for placement or internship.but overall faculties are good..

Course Curriculum Overview :

Everything is good in my department. This course is divided into 4 semesters first two semesters is general applied psychology areas from sem 3 there is a specialization paper on management psychology clinical psychology rehabilitation psychology based on my journey as I am from management psychology specialization there are very less faculties very less opportunities for internship,

Class Size : 65Course Fees : INR 136000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

According to there rules and regulations 100% scholarship from the University but you won't get any govt scholarship if you applied for this.total cost nowadays increased i completed my course within 65k as I got full scholarship and there is no extra more charges for anything.. everything under this fees if you are not getting any scholarship then fees is little high for you

Campus Life :

There is a good Central library and lots of books their teachers are also provided e-library for online reading campus life is moreover good classes are well but AC is not available for every room. overall good experience. Lots of good seminars cultural festivals and more focus on your study

Admission :

Everything things is mentioned in their website and fill the form for counseling they will call you and clear everything after that admission process is not that tough or difficult they will help you

Faculty :

Faculties are excellent..very cooperative friendly manner..most of them are phd holder. In my year approx 62 student are there and we had 5 professor that time after that it was increased now 9/10 professor are there.they are very helpful and help each and everyone in every aspect of life not only the learning process.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I have got good marks in my graduation and wanted to pursue higher study I have chosen this course. We have around 50 students in our geography pg department. And we have 5 professors and some guest lecturers. Our student-faculty ratio was decent. It's almost 9 students per one faculty. All of our professors are highly qualified. All of them have done PhD and they are very interactive even in online classes. Due to covid practical classes were not possible as college was closed. We have a total of 4 semesters, practical exams & internal assessment tests. Exams are moderate to pass

WBSU-MY 2 YEAR EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

After completing and getting good marks in graduation my next step is to pass MSc with first-class and prepare myself for the NET SET exam so that I can either do a Ph.D. or become a lecturer. We had 4 faculty and almost 42 students in our department. So the student-faculty ratio is 10 students per one professor. But our professors are very good and understanding. They are very interactive in online/offline classes. They have empathy and patience to understand our topic very deeply. They also do regular practical classes. Our professors have done Ph.D. in their field. We had 4 semesters. Every semester we had 5-6 papers and practical exams and internal assessment tests and assignments. Anyone who studies regularly can pass these exams.

Placement Experience:

They can enroll in the placement cell which helps with placements, Some departments get quite good placements from reputed companies. After getting the degree, I plan on sitting for the JAM MSc entrance exams. Also Really good for other departments like BCom and economics but you usually don't look for placement after graduation in the arts stream. You have to go for masters. So if you're a commerce or a science student and you're looking for a college with good placement after graduation, St Xavier's College is one of the best colleges in the country and in Kolkata the best.
