The best time I had in my life. I loved every second of my student life. That's all.

Course Curriculum Overview :

A very through faculty. Teachers are one of the best. You get to sit on tha same table with Toppers of the Board Exams. University area is very nature friendly. There is free digital library where you can read on a computer and use internet for your study for the entire day / week. You will get very comprensive knowledge of your subject - that's for sure.

Placement Experience :

The placements are very good. Best of the companies come here to pick best of the young talents. You will get a lot of offers regarding job/teaching/other departments.

College Events :

Jadavpur University is the best of the Cultural heritage of the country. University feast is the best time to enjoy contemporary artists and actors' shows. We have seen live performance of Papon, Anjan Dutta, Bhoomi band,Fakira band, Sahani Bajpeye etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It is the most affordable college of the state. Semester fees near 100 and admission fee near 2000 - perfect for middle-class or financially Poor students. Lab fees are very affordable too. Online fee submission is very handy. You can get free admission if you apply amd show your monthly family income.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yeah. I got DST INSPIRE scholarship from central government. I have applied it online. Have to submit board results, signed copy of HOD, CONTROLLER and scholarship section.

Campus Life :

They are very good. There are cricket ground, football ground, basketball ground, tennis ground. We had inter department and intra department tournaments of all the sports. Carrom/ Table tennis tounaments are very regular. You can participate in cultural activities.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yeah. Very helpful. Departmental Reunion are the best time to get to know the network. You will love departmental picnic and reunion.

Admission :

The best college of West Bengal. For arts subjects, you have to appear for an entrance test and for science subjects, onle merit list, no exams. You have to apply through online application. If you make to the final list, you have to attend councelling and admission. Online application starts usually after 12th Board exam results of West Bengal Council of Higher secondary. You need to have good marks in you preferred subject unless you won't get a seat.

Faculty :

The faculty is the best . One of the best teachers of the country are here . They will help for anything you need . You have to study hard to get good marks . Other staff is very co-operative. HOD is very supportive. DEAN is very supportive too. You can get free admission if you have family income less than 5 lakh per year.

Study mathematics in Kalyani university

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love mathematics from school level. I wished to student this subjet in future and after scoring good in class 12 I took decision to study mathematics from krishnagar government college. Teachers made it easy to chose to study msc then. In msc semester exams after 4/5 months are really difficult to study, but you have to compromise with situation ,nothing to do.

Placements opportunity are actually very good in this college. For UG-courses, students are eligible from the 5th semester and for PG courses, from the 3rd semester onwards, they are eligible for on-campus placements. Many good companies visit campus. From Last semester students are eligible for appearing in campus placements. In our time that is 2021, there is not a single company visited to offer jobs in our department. But, in previous years Dr. Reddy's, Cipla, Sun Pharma, etc companies visited. Our just previous batch got approx 4 LPA packages on average.

Jadavpur University: Why Not?

Placement Experience:

The placement committee is working hard in the science department recently, besides engineering and arts. The students in their last year or previous year of graduation are eligible for placements. The science faculty has recently linked with AI companies like Bridge i2i, tech companies like TCS and Infosys, and banks like the CITI bank. One student has already secured her placement in the CITI bank. The engineering department is visited by frequent companies like NTPC, SAIL, Mahindra, Google, Microsoft, Compass, Ranbaxy and other prestigious MNCs and international enterprises. Almost 78% of the students get hired in on-campus recruitments and the average package is 6-7lpa in science and 12-13lpa in engineering. After completing my Master, I am thinking of getting a one-year job experience and then, opting for M.Tech.

Lots of positives are there to say regarding JU. It's the premier institution in West Bengal and perhaps entire eastern India for a reason.
