Remarks :

Positive side is that it is the institution of National important institution like IIT, NIT, IIISER etc. Negative side is that it is new institute so it is in initial stage. Experimental facilities for research scholars who doing in experiments is poor.

Course Curriculum Overview :

For Ph.D students, first two semester for their course work. That is every scholar should take four 3 credits course as a course work. After completing course work, Scholars should clear the comprehensive exam and viva where they mainly checking our basics thorough or not. Then we can our research start fully.

Placement Experience :

There is placement cell for the orient students in the direction to professional line. It helped students to get the job in well esteemed companies. The institute provide internships for students. The stipend depends on the project.

College Events :

Freshers Night is program to introduce and to be introduce the freshers. Institution also celebrate all kind of festival like Onam, Vinayaka chathurthy, Diwali etc. The institution also conduct Tech festival, Hostel Night, Arts day, Food fest and Convocation.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is feasible. For Ph.D students, the tuition fee is around 30 per semester. It is noticed that increasing by 2000 for every year. All class rooms having the projector facilities. Wifi is available anywhere in the campus.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Institution provides scholarships for students whoever securing the CGPA more than 8.0. Scholarships amount 18000*. Institution provide loan facilities with help of SBI for student who needed the financial support.

Campus Life :

To encourage the extracurricular activities, there is sports unit. There is facilities outdoor sports activities for football, cricket, basketball, tennis and volleyball. Indoor facilities is available for Table Tennis and badminton. Gymming facilities is also available.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel fee is around 25 per semester. 24x7 Medical facilities is available in campus. They provide single room for Ph.D scholars. In hostel WLAN is available. To washing the cloths washing machine is available.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Institution conduct an alumni meeting in every year. It is very much helping the institution for their growth. Alumni shares their ideas to help for improving the their parental institution to the top level.

Admission :

Institution call the application for admissions for two times in a year, winter(January) and summer(July), for Ph.D. One should apply for appropriate time. Eligible student called for the exam and interview. From this they select candidates.

Faculty :

Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing is a Institution of national importance. Thus facilities are having good profiles with high exposure from aboard university. Their teaching skill also are very different than from the other engineering colleges.

Research at NITT!

Admission:

Written test will be there which covers the core domains of the course. Once the test has been cleared, you will be shortlisted for interview. Inteview panel will be all the faculties from the department and they will be judging you based on your domain knowledge and research interests.

Placement Experience:

100% placement is happening with students getting multiple options.This is the place where all the top companies like : Microsft,google,facebook,etc comes for placement and the average package comes to around 30-40lpa.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses are dealt with by highly knowledgable faculties and they take classes out of the boundaries. You get to know very well about how these theories are gonna get involved practically. Everything here is accompanied by a view to research. Electives involve Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Computer science, Biotechnology and a lot more.
