Nice college

Remarks :

Good college but management is not so good and if you want to join you should definitely. Applied Sciences department is scrict to some extent but as soon as you go in the core branch you will not feel so strictness

Course Curriculum Overview :

course curriculum is formed by the university of jammu and exam structure is like any other college in india.i am currently in 2nd year /3 rd semester. There are four subjects in each semester and curriculum is quite easy for good learners

Placement Experience :

Job opportunities in our college is like any other college of J&K at par with GCET's and in some scenarios better than GCET. Being a college of JGEI group of institutions companies do visit our college and most of the comapnies are looking for IT/CSE graduate like any other college of india

College Events :

Different events are celebrated in our college Like EKATRA, NIRVAKALPA , Techno, robotics events and other cultural events are also celebrated in our college campus. overall the environment of the college is great

Fee Structure And Facilities :

total fee per year is around 60-70k + bus charges 15000 or less. it is quite feasible if compared at par with other colleges of J&K or any other part of india. in my opinion fee structure is quite genuine

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

currently there are no loan facilities offered by the college while talking about the scholarship the top three students get some scholarship by the management of the college but i am not aware of any scholarship as i haven't availed it anyhow

Campus Life :

All basic extracurricular activities are there in our college. all labs of all the subjects are well equipped / adequately equipped so that all the experiments or practicals can be well performed. sports activities like table tennis ,badminton, volleyball ,carromboard , cricket are all available in the college

Hostel Facilities :

I didn't opted for the hostel as my home is near the college but if you have to opt for the hostel , you have to pay 26000 per semester + 500 transportation charges as hostel is not in the college campus

Alumni/Alumna :

alumni of this college are not many because this college was established in 2013 and as of now only four batches have passed out recently. talking of the seniors they are quite helpful in the college.

Admission :

I scored 85.2 % in 12th exam and went to crack jkcet.i scored 27.5 marks in jkcet and got admission to this collegee ThroughJKCET Exam and afterwards counseling by JKBOPEE. I am glad that i got this college because it is near my home and faculty is also great

Faculty :

faculty of the college is good. most lecturers are Master's in their own subject in applied sciences department and some are even PhD. overall teachers and faculty are great. but the management of the college is not so good

Course Curriculum Overview:

Computer science is an interesting course with a good job opportunity. The exams however are exhausting, not that difficult but exhausting. The question papers are prepared by the faculty itself and papers are checked by the faculty too.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible from 7th semister for the university placements. There are various companies that visit the university like TCS, Airtel, Jio, Infosys, etc. Some students do get placed at packages of around 5 LPA. My plans are to develop skills and apply for jobs outside university placements.

Placement Experience:

I think the students become eligible for placements after 6 th semester, if you are from CS / IT then you'll get enough opportunities for yourself... I know 8-9 seniors who have grabbed a pretty decent package from companies like Oracle If somehow you fail to get recruited on campus then i guess the off campus option is open for all I am pretty satisfied with the placement record atleast for IT The percentage placement for this year CSE was 51 considering recession part this seems good to me

Course Curriculum Overview:

Basically the faculty also does not know what questions will be in the external exams, so they need to cover whole syllabus and 4 months are not sufficient to cover the whole syllabus. I did not learn any practical thing there so it was the worse decision of my life to join the course. The curriculum only prepares you to handle the pressure and makes you really strong. "What will happen with 1 backlog now" They first need to know what is important and what can they skip. Timings were good but the last 2 semisters were taken in 8 months that was difficult to manage

Placement Experience:

Placement scenario is not same every year . I didn't get placement and almost majority students do not get placement of my batch in all streams it's also because of the recession going in our country. But the companies that come here took girls only their focus was to balance girls and boys ratio in their office so companies were taking girls only very few boys were placed . Less than 50% students were palced from my stream. Highest package was of 10 lakhs and 4 students were placed in that company with a contract of 5 years only others were placed at an average package of 5-6 lakhs

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculty and seniors are more cooperative than I thought, they create an environment for every student to learn a few more aspects in their domain. There should be some gap given in the time table, so that there will be less academic stress

Course Curriculum Overview:

• B.e./B.Tech is one the most popular course, i prefer this course with an idea of securing well paid job after completion of this professional degree. Also i was good in mathematics and science from the childhood. • SSM College is a private university with multiple campuses in India. It is known for its large student population and expansive academic programs. However, specific data on the faculty-to-student ratio may vary across different campuses and departments within the university. It can contribute to a better learning experience and individualized support for students. • Minimum of 5 years experience in teaching / research /industry of which 2 years post PhD experience is desirable. • Use multiple sources of data for each course. • Mid term exams were on time after completing 2 chapters from all subject. It is done before Major exams. It is easy to pass mid term exams as it is of 50 marks and pass marks is just 20
