The better college between NIT Kurukshetra and PEC Chandigarh depends on a lot of factors like the overall environment of the college, staff, facilities, location, placement, etc Both the colleges have their unique pros and cons. For instance, NIT has the upper hand in terms of research and infrastructure while PEC wins in terms of placements.

Some of my friends graduated from PEC Chandigarh and NIT Kurukshetra. They said that they both are equally good. It mostly depends on the branch you choose rather than the college.

If you're getting into computer science then you should go for NIT, Kurukshetra. Otherwise, PEC Chandigarh provides better opportunities although it lacks the NIT brand.
PEC has a legacy attached to it being a pre-independence era institution and one of the oldest in North India.
Moreover, Chandigarh is a perfect place to get all kinds of exposure and for overall development.
