JEE Main 2026 Exam Centres in Tamil Nadu has been released by NTA on its official website jeemain.nta.ac.in. During JEE Main Registration, candidates can choose upto 4 exam cities. In the previous year, the list of exam centers in Tamil Nadu was similar, ensuring consistency and accessibility for candidates. The NTA strives to maintain a stable network of exam centers to accommodate the large number of applicants each year.
Two newly added cities have been added as exam centers in Tamil Nadu are as follows:
- Thoothukudi in Tamil Nadu (city code TN13)
- Nagercoil in Tamil Nadu (city code TN24)
The exact address of the exam center will be mentioned on the JEE Main Admit Card. Can I change my JEE Main 2026 exam centres?
Yes, you can change their exam city and centre even after the release of the intimation slip but not after the release of the admit card. Since the JEE Main 2026 admit cards for session 1 have been released for exams held on Jan 22, 23, and 24, changing the city or centre of the exam is no longer an option.
Students could have changed their preferred city or centre of the exam during the application correction window which was opened from Nov 27 to 27, 2024. The city intimation slip was released on January 10, 2026.

JEE Main 2026 city intimation slip is released by NTA on its official website soon. City intimation slip for JEE Main 2026 will contain details such as JEE Main exam date, exam state, city. Whereas JEE Main 2026 Admit Card will contain details such as reporting time, allotted exam date and timings, test centre along with the address and exam day guidelines.
