Being a faculty member of the Scope Global Skills University, what are your roles and responsibilities towards the students?

In my role as the Dean of Banking, Finance, and Commerce, the responsibility I bear is to ensure a dynamic discourse. to offer top-tier education coupled with practical exposure, crafting success stories, and empowering each future closure. My aim rests upon students’ triumph in placements that nurture entrepreneurs and their startups taking flight. practical wisdom in banking, finance, and accounting’s array and share market insights, preparing them for the professional day. Enabling a bridge between academia and industry’s domain and equipping students with skills that real-world challenges contain will guide them to thrive and excel in their chosen field’s art, empowering them for a future that’s promising from the start.


How do you establish healthy relations with the students and fellow faculty?

To build healthy relationships with students, the faculty members are given a fear-free environment so that students can clear their doubts without hesitation. It is necessary to know from them about their subject and interest, and at the same time, the subject has to be taught by making it interesting. Teamwork is also taught to the students through various management games. About faculty members, they always have to keep motivating. They are given subjects to teach as per their ability and specialization. Apart from this, a friendly environment is provided by organising get-togethers and other activities with the faculty members.


What valuable advice would you like to give to students to enrich their future?

To make the future prosperous for the students, they will have to do it personally along with their studies. First of all, they will have to come to the class regularly and prepare notes on the subject taught by the teacher, which will strengthen their concepts related to the subject. Students will have to participate in class activities, and it will be necessary to go on industry visits. The subject has to be learned with a practical approach. Along with this, they should study individually by making a timetable, and it will be necessary to pay attention to all the subjects. Also, students should play sports during sports periods, which relieves stress. If students remain physically fit, then they will be able to move ahead in life.

Do you have any extracurricular activities or programmes to enhance the skills of the students or expose them to real-world challenges?

Of course, we make students do different types of activities that connect them with the outside world. In this, we provide lectures from field experts in the industry. The students are taken to the industry and shown the working system there. Apart from this, the experts of the Training and Placement Department of our organisation talk to the students, give them information about the current scenario of various industries, and train them.


How does the curriculum of your department or college ensure industry best practices?

The curriculum of our department is based on the latest National Education Policy 2020, which emphasises student learning rather than rote learning. Apart from this, the course is based on the curriculum of the Management & Entrepreneurship and Professional Skills Council, Banking, and Finance sector of insurance, through which students are taught with a practical approach. In this, various specialisations of commerce and management like financial accounts, logistics, retail, tax, computer applications, etc. have been included. 60% practical training and 40% class teaching have been included for the students.
