Dr. Amit Kumar Pandey is the Registrar of the RKDF University Ranchi. He has over eight years of teaching experience in the Department of Microbiology at RKDF University, Bhopal. He has taught and coached various professionals and students and has delivered splendid lectures and presentations. Dr. Pandey’s executive educational experience includes innovative management techniques and leadership quality and development, which is a stand-out factor and an inspiration for many success stories at such a young age. He received his M.Sc. in Microbiology degree in 2010 and his PhD in Microbiology degree in 2013 from Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur. Moreover, Dr. Amit has over two years and five months of experience in research as a Junior Research Fellow from December 2010 to 2013, where he worked on “Taxonomy Building of Fungi.” The funding agency for the project was the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, New Delhi.

What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

The factors that keep me connected to the education sector are dedication and passion. I am also motivated to provide quality education for society, promote woman empowerment through education, provide free education donations for social upliftment, and provide practical and industry-oriented programs for a skilled India.

Being a Registrar of RKDF University what is your roles and responsibilities?

Being a Registrar, I provide executive leadership by assisting the chancellor in the overall planning. I also assist in organising, and controlling finances, administration, and academic program areas. I take a keen interest in solving students’ problems that need more attention. It is my responsibility to provide the students with an atmosphere for their overall growth and the necessary knowledge and skills to make them better professionals.

What do you see as RKDF University’s greatest strengths?

RKDF University’s greatest strengths are sincere, hardworking, and dedicated faculty members and employees. They tirelessly work for the fulfilment of the mission and vision of RKDF University, Ranchi. Higher management support for each and every member of the RKDF University makes the bond stronger.

How your college could be more welcoming to students of different races or economic backgrounds?

RKDF University facilitates a diverse mix of students from all parts of society. RKDF Group has a special scheme for female students and those who are differently-abled, are from a minority community, are hearing impaired, or are international candidates. Our chancellor’s scholarship is designed for the low-income group and other schemes are given to privileged students based on their merit.

An effective curriculum provides teachers, students, school leaders, and community stakeholders with a measurable plan and structure for delivering quality education. When you first started RKDF University, Ranchi, what was your vision for the university?

My vision as a Registrar of the university at the time of joining was to make RKDF University one of the best universities in India. We want to stand out as an institute that provides quality education to students from all parts of society and makes them quality professionals as per the demand of the industry. Additionally, we want to provide skills through training that are important in encouraging entrepreneurial thinking in our students. We have been successful in achieving this to a great extent but still, our efforts are continuing.

What would you like people to know about your college they may not know?

RKDF is focusing on environmental conservation as a necessary part of the education system. We want everyone to know that with our regular courses, our priority is to safeguard and conserve the environment. Additionally, we also make our students eco-conscious and skilled professionals. RKDF University Ranchi’s research achievements, seminars, and international conferences are also making the university popular among the general public.
