- 75% attendance are compulsory. If you have some medical issues then 60% attendance is compulsory. So for competitive basis it is not good.

- The campus life is good, not super good but good in some ways..the campus is quite large,big ground in the middle and many sitting areas are there in the college. Seniors were super supportive, few canteens are there in the campus.

The student must have scored more than 50 percent in maths for bsc statistics. Yes, I took an entrance test and the cutoff was 60 out of 100. The questions are from 12th maths only. There are not very tough can say moderate type. one can get the admission form in the St.Xaviers College Ranchi website.1000 rs is the application fee. the price of the application fee should be less.

There are reservation policy in college like : Category Percentage% SC -10% ST -26% BC-I -8% BC-II -6% Total 50% Seat is very less for the course , it should be increased so that deserving candidate can take admission too . The cutoff should be 45+marks. General candidate should also get equal oppourtinity

- The best thing about the college is, it’s regular classes. You have to complete the 75% attendance to area at any cost otherwise get ready to study the whole year. Once again. Death threatening disease can only be way to sit into examination
- The second best thing about the College is its discipline, like you can’t roam around the College corridor or the ground or the canteen. While your ongoing classes you can’t enter the college without the ID card, no matter what

- Infrastructure was not up to the mark. Building was old, no proper toilets, no smart classrooms, no air-conditioning.
- When it comes to placement, College have a war record. Only 20 to 25% of assistant got placed from the campus and that 2 at a very low average package.

See in 2020, it was corona period. So at my time the admission process was quite simple. Students get admission simply according to their class 12th result, but nowadays student have to go through a whole selection process like in entrance, examination, interview and all. Yes, there is huge reservation policy for Christian students. It was approx 50%. I mean 50% of the seats were reserved for students coming from Christian community.

However, for all the PG courses except M.Com, the college conducts separate entrance tests in order to evaluate the candidates. The fee for the Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] {Hons.} (Accountancy) is INR 32,800 per year, the fee for the Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] {Hons.} (Banking and Insurance) and Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] {Hons.}(Office Management Secretarial Practice) is INR 49,100 at St. Xavier's College - [SXC], Ranchi. Candidates applying for admission in this program must have passed the applicant should have 45% in each subject and aggregate 50% marks in the 10+2 / Intermediate examination.
