Gossner College, Ranchi is a minority college established in the year 1971. It aims at providing education to the underprivileged, economically backward and tribal students of Ranchi and Jharkhand. Admission:
Actually i had two name in my mind st.xaviers college and gossner college .since i was regularly going to school i wanted to sleep so i needed second shift classes i don't want to feel like i am going to school so in st. Xaviers they were providing morning shift but in gossner both morning and afternoon shif so that is the reason i chose gossner and rest education quality of both are good.

- The college also have a cafeteria where students can eat whatever thay what which includes vegitarian and non- vegitarian both.
Dislikes
- the guards there are way too nosy and will poking you for no reason.
- The male washroom is the worst. The toilets doesn't have doors.
Admission:
To be honest I choose this college because it was close to my house and there are some of my friends who were already studying there and they suggested me that the college is good for completing graduation as the fee structure is pocket friendly compared to other colleges and the faculty is very good and helpful for the students.

- The library area need improvement there is very poor light condition.

I didn't apply for any colleges. I choose this college over any colleges because i have to stay at my home town for some personal reasons. The admission process of my college is like first you have to aaply for the admission in their official site and the faculty takes an interview for admission and the cutoffs are 61%.

I didn't apply for any other colleges. I choose this college over other because i have to stay near to my home. No i didn't get rejection from any colleges. The admission process of my faculty on the basis of merit list for general its 65% and the faculty takes a personal interview.

There is no any entrance exam is taking place here . The teachers only see the main subject marks which you want to take as a hons paper . Application forms are filled online and after that your marks are taken out by the college after that you have to come college and the teacher will guide you . To fill fee receipt and finally you have to pay the required fee.

- The smart board of the class is not so good and the internet connection is very frustrating so student use to face some problems during there presentation.
- The toilet of the university is not so good because there was not so proper cleaning of the toilet.
Admission:
Eligibility of the course was that a student who scored 50 percentile in 12th gets the chance the fill the application for my course that is BBA. We can find the application form, I application fees and application from the official website of my college. Every 3 months there is a exam of 30 marks and after 3 months there is a exam of 70 marks. The difficulty level was not so difficult. Every student should gets the notification through mail or a notification in whatsapp so that the students should not always login in student ID to check the updates and notification related to admission.

- Canteen was outdated and provided limited stuffs in menu.

Eligibility changes year on year. They take addmission on your 12th marks basis. Application forms are available online in ranchi University website. Exams were yearly but 2 mid terms exams were even there.

The admission process was very simple. There are entrance exam but when I took admission, it was done on the basis of my merits. First we need to fill the registration form. After that, we have to fill the addmission form and submit it with 12th mark sheets and the other documents.

You must have done an Intermediate examination certificate with at least 60% marks in any stream. Admisison is based on the Merit in the qualifying examination. Selected candidates must take the admissions within the prescribed dates mentioned in the selection list. Admissions of the candidates who apply after the prescribed dates will be canceled. The fee per year for the BA in Hindi course is INR 8,130.
