HP BTech Admission 2024 will be done based on an entrance exam. HP BTech Admission will be conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU). HPTU has released the HPCET 2024 exam dates to offer Himachal Pradesh BTech Admission. 

HPCET has conducted a pen-and-paper-based test at various centres for candidates applying for HP BTech Admission 2024. HPCET counselling dates are now released on the official website. 

BTech is a 4-year long undergraduate engineering degree that is divided into 8 semesters. Candidates must have passed the 12th standard with a minimum of 50% marks to be eligible. The gateway to this undergraduate degree is through entrance exams HPCET or JEE. HPCET is a state-level exam conducted by Himachal Pradesh Technical University for BTech Admission 2024. A merit list will be prepared for the qualified candidates based on their performance in the entrance test.

Himachal Pradesh BTech Admission 2024: Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have passed in class 12 from the Science stream.
  • Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
  • Candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% marks (45% in the case of SC/ ST Categories).

Himachal Pradesh BTech Admission 2024: Result

  • Candidates can check their Results from the official website or through the direct link which will be provided after the exam. 
  • Merit will be determined based on aggregate marks obtained by candidates in the common entrance test and a common merit list will be prepared for BTech.

Himachal Pradesh BTech Admission 2024: Counseling

  • After the declaration of the result, information regarding the counseling will be published on the official website. 
  • A merit list will be announced. Based on the merit list, seats will be allotted to candidates. 
  • A final merit list will be prepared for those candidates who will take part in the counseling round. 
  • At the time of counseling, candidates have to bring the original documents for verification.

Here are a few things that she experienced in her duration at the college.  Unnecessary Rules: Students often complain about the unnecessary discipline enforced by the college to attend all of the lectures and seminars irrespective of their choice and usefulness. Faculty: In terms of faculty, there is a mix of average and good professors. But most of the good professors are moving to different colleges.  Placements: In the terms of placement, the data may show it as amazing but in reality, most of the students of IEM end up in mass recruiting jobs offered by any IT company. Only a few of the students end up in good companies.  If you are choosing IEM try to make the most of it. Other than college learning, try and take up some extra courses such as coding or hacking and security, it will help a lot. There are a handful of helpful faculties at IEM. Interacting and working with those professors will help a lot in going good places. Learn to utilize their time and learn new things. Learn something new and read as much as possible.
