Likes
- Diverse people from a variety of states and different backgrounds allowed me to learn different cultures. Very well defined curriculum helps in smooth functioning of academics, sports, cultural events as well as the internships and holidays.
- The sports facilities along with the coaching of each and every sports is the best part. The grounds and the courts are very well maintained. Starting any event from the ground level is appreciated by the coaches.
Dislikes
- Undertaking PhD is emphasized than placements. The academics are quite hectic as 2 quizzes and Midterm end sem exams are conducted within a span of 4 months. Students managing the events or the coordinators need to sacrifice their academics.
- The academic section is not lenient and not very cooperative and so it gets difficult for the students to manage everything. Although it's part of learning and gaining experiences, it comes at the cost of missing few classes.
Placement Experience:
For BS engineering students campus placement is eligible from 4th year and for BS-MS students from 5th year. Very less students go for placement. Not sure but probably I will be doing PhD after getting the degree.
Likes
- Lab facilities and equipments are very good and the clarity of subjects through the professors are also impressive.
- Internship and phd opportunities are great it's very easy to go abroad for phd through iisers.
Dislikes
- Placement opportunities are very less, so students who are interested in placements do not get enough chances to fulfill it.
Placement Experience:
From 8th semester students are eligible for applying for placements. Companies like Dr. Reddy, Wipro come for placements. But the number of placements are less compared to other colleges as it is a research oriented institute.
Likes
- As I am a chemistry major, I liked the chemistry professional labs and all other facilities like NMR Spectroscopy, Mass spectrometry, CIF etc.
- Our campus has access to all sports facilities like cricket,footbal,badminton,kabbaddi,kho-kho and every sport has experienced coaches.
Dislikes
- The college is too far away from the city and there are no bus facilities, and the auto charges are not affordable for all.
- The mess food in the college is not eatable sometimes and we have to pay whole month mess fees and paying mess fees is compulsory for every registered student. If there was not a compulsion, I could have eaten outside on daily basis.
Placement Experience:
People joining IISER and other research colleges generally go for higher studies like PhD after BS-MS. After 6th semester in BS, people are eligible for campus placements. In BS, the average package is 17 LPA and for BS-MS it is around 7 LPA. Some top recruiters are TCS, Deloitte, SBI, Atotech, REddy's Lab. The percentage of students getting placements in BS is high around 80 percent but in BS-MS it is less because students prefer for higher studies rather than go for placements. My plans after degree will be pursuing for PhD , and if not I will be going for a career in teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Like if I talk about the course ,I think it's very hectic like from morning to evening we have classes then we have to do lab also though it is hectic but its very interesting and all of we enjoy very much during class and lab as well

- Knowledge of each faculty and their in-depth analysis which helped students to learn more.
- Infrastructure and the research facilities and spacious campus
Dislikes
- Below average mess facilities so students have to rely on outside food.
- Hectic Schedule which left students with less time for other activities.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum and it's provisions like time availability are a matter of both pride and concern. Since the curriculum has a spacious time in between but during exams all of a sudden everything gets burdened up. It though prepares us for time management and stress management but still the end time hurdling should be taken care of. The exams are Quizzes 1 then mid sems then Quizzes 2 and end semester. With the difficulty level depends on the professor.
Likes
- The campus environment is very beautiful including academics and extra activities.
- Its quite unique here, you can be in touch with seniors and faculty members in which area you would like to do research.
Dislikes
- climate may be change in some point of time.
- Some departments are quit hard to study.
Placement Experience:
Here, many students go to abroad for their higher studies so most students don't focus on placement. for those students who want to get a job we have a placement cell that conducts all the company interview

- This is good institute if you are interested in research.
- Amazing sports facilities,with dedicated coaches for each sport
Dislikes
- There is no coding culture of his institute,hat you generally find in other engineering colleges,but efforts are made from the student side to develop the same
- Very bad placements for now.hope the scenario will improve in upcoming years
Course Curriculum Overview:
Here courses are well designed,to give you a through understanding of the topic. But when it comes to Engineering science I think the courses are too theoretical and they are lagging behind other engineering colleges i.e. when it comes to the practical application

- The Environment of the college and the maintaince of the in Hygienic manner
- The Library Facilities are well structure and good well books are available
Dislikes
- Where Coming to the ICH and Other it will be very expensive
- the placements are very low and it will not helpful for the engineering students and they have to choose the IIT for the MTech and Jobs
Placement Experience:
Placements are offered by this collag, but very few studerts choose to go for it. Most of the students apply for PhDs after completing thier Degrees. I plan on doing the differnt. Companies such Nomura, DR Reddy's etc the ones that come here to seel studets in thier final years and also Delotiee and Barcelys
Likes
- The campus is really beautiful. Students from all background and different corner of the country approach here for research and studies in interdisciplinary sciences. The senior junior interactions are very healthy and encouraging.
- Faculties are well experienced and excellent researcher as well as teacher. They have connections all around the world which help us in grabbing opportunities everywhere. There is a placement cell, currently in growing phase.
Dislikes
- There is no common room for Boys and Girls in a hostel.
- The placement cell is not developed completely and very few companies gather here for recruitment.
Placement Experience:
The placement cell is growing and has not yet fully developed. Very few companies in consultancy, data science, etc., approach the institutes for recruitment. Mostly, engineering and economic sciences students are placed with an average placement of 7 LPA, etc. Some companies recruiting are Deloitte, Dr. Reddy's Lab, etc. Other BS-MS students generally go for higher studies abroad and in the country.

- Remote location, difficulty in reaching main city
Course Curriculum Overview:
I have interest in research so I opted for this institute. It is very similar to outside world because we have pure sciences and applied sciences too. They could make class more interesting for students and exams are on a moderate level. Nothing comes copy paste from book.
