Nid follows a old style curriculum which has its own pros and cons. Here we prefer sticking to the basics in the beginning we believe in building our base rather than rushing. We imply more of practical knowledge rather than theoretical basically we experiment live with our ideas a lot and we are allowed to explore anything that we are interested in

Best college in india for design. The course I opted for has a good curriculum and faculty. Alumni network is strong and work opportunities are good. The course provided the modules I was looking for and had heard a lot about it from friends
Coming to pursue or adopt a career in fashion , National Institute of Design is one of the best college that crossed my mind as it offers a detailed syllabus and courses i wanted to pursue my future goals.
Moreover it's a very good college for what it offers. There are ups and downs with management but there is a Student activity Council which really helps the students raise their voice in the management sector quite a lot.
I think NID has a good structure and a strong right knot community system, which when tapped into well, can act as a brilliant system of support and upheaval. The course syllabus could be more up to date and market-oriented, but at the same time, it is also thinking based and human-centric which works well for understanding the fundamentals of a design thinking and process. Also, NID is a place with a rich history, this having an abundance of good alumni and visiting faculties. It usually leaves you up with your devices, so most learning here happens from self-driven motivation and curiosity.
