- The scholarship also grants to good students, their placement training and assistance are brilliant, and our college is always ranked in the highest placement ratio.
- Our college gives a huge opportunity to each and every student to get placed in the reputed company and they can a get a good idea of how the interview done
- Teachers are really helpful and are passionate about their subject and motivate us to make changes in the learning experience .they provide helpful meaningful notes for students to prepare for exam.they do listen to students suggestions while teaching.
Dislikes
- College canteen is not so good. the food they provide its not good
- The average package is very low . last placements were not so good .
- Hostels are not good there..students prefer more for pg and own flat,as hostels also don't have good mess as there foods are not good.

- Variety of courses and many branches of CSE available (though these are added recently, so you can get an idea that the teaching capability in those curriculum still need a huge implementation).
- Almost 0 ragging in our campus. (As of my knowledge)
- There is 1 library available. Library is kind of ok. Open till 8:30 pm (need permission for that).
Dislikes
- Unorganized, lack of management, need immediate improvement in infrastructure as this year(2025) itself college took 2k students and even having 3 buildings but huge verities of offered courses.
- For 6.5k students only one canteen with capacity of less than 150. You can find 4-5 small vendor food stalls during lunch and can get food only if you are good runner and have ability to handle the chaos like a small fair and have good luck that day.
- Up to 2nd yr as of my opinion I got chance to attend many faculties' classes and I can assure you 80% of them inexperienced and 50% of them 'chal jayega' and 30% of them are completely disaster. But of course there are 5-6 extraordinary faculties.

Placement Experience:
Being a Tier-3 college in comparision to other colleges at this level, I'll say the placement is a lili bit better.
Atleast more or less they bring some companies (of course don't except any tycoon name). So if you are enable to learn some skills and gain very basic knowledge in your niche atleast you will not find yousell jobless after 4 years no matter how less salary they offer you, sometimes even lesser than a chaiwalaa. :)

- Teaching system is good and extra curicullam like aptitude and gate course is good.
- Placement is average. If any student has capability then he can get more than 3 placement.
- Faculty members are very qualified and they pursue in well known IIT.
Dislikes
- Attendance system is very bad and daily 9 to 4.10 class very bad.
- Put extra pressure in student is very bad. Extra task are given to student.
- There is no break between classes that's why its very difficult for students.
Placement Experience:
From 7th semesrer students are eligble for campus placement. Deloit, infosys, wipro, Tcs digital, Tcs Prime, Tcs NINJA, PWS etc company. Highest package is approx 27 lpa and average is 5 lpa and lowest is 3.5 lpa.

- Nothing everything is bad out their not so much skilled teacher hardly they have frew .
- The punctuality which they dont follow always late.
- Providing the Coursera license which is free pf cost

- Security guard is rude and with zero mentality and sense.
- They die for only Money and Money . No money no studies
- Not so much advanced classrooms and fields
Course Curriculum Overview:
As the technology is advancing rapidly so i choose byech in CST but the faculty and the portion they covered like having zero sense in every sem altering new new topics not constant on same topic .
They are charging 6 lakhs which is not at all upto mark .

- Too much crowded college compared to their classroom sizes
- Placement company like wipro didn’t mail us back after 2 rounds, and college and no answer, Accenture closed their recruitment drive midway from our college.
Placement Experience:
From 6 semester students become eligible for placement but if not trained individually by doing courses from coursera or YouTube then one cannot crack exams. College forces everyone to do a course from coursera every semester in order to get a job. And some companies like Accenture stoped hiring mid way, and Wipro did not reply after 2nd round only releasing the shortlisted student list for interview, and no interview were scheduled few companies like LT midtree and cognizant DN program gave placement opportunities with LT mindtree hiring 25-30 students and DN program being the only mass hiring opportunity . The average package being 4.5-4lpa only.
Till now i did not get any reply of rejection or selection process mail from cognizant and wipro, and college has no answers. Now i have to bridge my skills after college according to company to get a job.

- In our college the laboratory experience is very good specially physics & computer
- The class rooms are big in size where light and air are very much
- There are lots of teachers they take care students vey good

- There are lots of pressure of assignment and projects
- Our college campus is very small in size
- In canteen food price is very much. So we buy food from outside
Course Curriculum Overview:
In present there are a huge demand of computer science.
But in future there will be a huge demand of electrical car and gadgets so I choose electrical engineering.
In second sem there will very less time to cover all the syllabus

Likes
- Discipline. The discipline there is the mainstay behind their academic and professional success of the students.
- Academic Pressure. The healthy pressure given in academics was the major reason why I came out with flying colours.
- College life. The college culture was nice, and we, the students really enjoyed ourselves by making friendships and bonds.
Dislikes
- Authoritarianism. The institute survives on Authoritarianism, and whatever was said by the faculty was like an edict for us.
- Selective Preference(Sometimes) of students. The placement cell is headed by a person who only allows his favored students to appear for the good jobs.
- Strictness. It is very strict, and not even the basic amounts of freedom are allowed in the college, everyone has to follow a certain standard.
Placement Experience:
The placements are really nice. Every year, a large amount of students are employed by Tech Mahindra, CTS, TCS, Wipro, etc. all software giants. The starting salaries are also decent. Most students get placed, but 100% placement has also been achieved by the college now.

- The regularity and placement cell efforts for the students were amazing and the curriculum and the exposure was also good
- Other things included placement and training opportunities in private as well as public firms which were good

- The immense pressure for attendance (80% compulsory)
- The presence of proper uniform like school students which was actually too much for Undergraduate students and they werent allowed in the campus if they enetered after 9.15am
Placement Experience:
The students were eligible for placements from just before the end of the 6th semester (3rd Year).Companies used to come on allocated days and it didnt stress out the students much due to proper schedule.The companies visited were Oracle, Juspay, Keysight Tech, EQ Tech, Cognizant, PWC,Deloitte, Accenture,TCS, Capgemini,ITC, EY GDS and many other startup based companies. Almost 100% students got placed from our batch. I planned to pursue for an M.tech after this.

- The infrastructure of this college is totally very welly designed and I liked it
- Library one of the best thing of this college which is beautifully designed

- Some faculty is too much to handle they are very bad at students
- The timings, the holidays are too much less than any other colleges

My college has avarage placement rates not too high or not too low. But yes if you have the ability to make more scores and get the best placements then you can. The placement scenario is totally depends on the students how they study.

- Canteen management is very bad here in the tiffin hours .

From the ending of their 6th semester students are eligible for their placements by the leading companies . Companies like PWC, TCS, COGNIZANT, CAPGEMINI , INFOSYS etc visits our college for the placements.

UEM Kolkata has been the highlight of negative views lately and here are the reasons:
- It is fairly new and hasn’t reached any milestone yet which makes it unreliable according to the standards set in society. People don’t trust newly established private universities.
- The entrance exam of UEM Kolkata is very easy and people pass it without any problem.
- UEM Kolkata is new and therefore has no accomplishments and therefore uses the records of UEM Jaipur which makes parents skeptical.
- The Institute has a very strict environment and therefore comes in the way of students who want to enjoy their college life. These students somehow convince their parents that the Institute is not good for them.
- UEM Kolkata had issues with UGC(University Grants Commission) and is not recognized by the government and therefore it creates doubts about the degree among students.
These are some of the reasons why some students will be skeptical about joining UEM Kolkata. Talk to the students presently studying there as they can only provide you with the exact information. Try visiting the institute beforehand and decide for yourself.
