AIT Kolkata Admission
Candidates seeking admission in B. Tech must have passed 10+2 with 45% marks in PCM from any recognized board and diploma in Engineering & Technology are eligible for direct lateral entry in B. Tech. course. Candidates seeking admission into M.Tech. must be holding a allied UG degree in Engineering & Technology from any recognized University or Institute.
Candidates having a valid score in WBJEE/ JEE Mains are selected for admission in B. Tech. The selection of the candidates in M.Tech. are done on the basis of valid scores in GATE followed by a PI.

- Library- A central library with a good seating facility is present inside the campus. It has a good volume of books, both National and International journals, and magazines, etc. to cater the academic needs of students as well as the faculty.
- Accommodation- The college provides a separate hostel facility for both girls and boys which can accommodate 138 boys and 45 girls at a time. Hostels have common rooms, games rooms, and courts for different sports around the hostel premises.
- Sports space- The institution has sports spaces for games such as football, basketball, lawn tennis, badminton, volleyball, and cricket. The college has a gymnasium and a yoga centre too as an addon.
- Canteen- The canteen has a college where different kinds of food items are available. Canteen provides the students with tea, coffee, biscuits, bananas, bread-butter, paratha, and cold drinks, Biryani, fried-rice, and chilly-chicken etc. Also, it is furnished with sufficient chairs and tables.

The admission process is gone through West Bengal Joint Entrance [ Engineering ] which is very simple that is if you select in joint entrance exam with a rank & you have brain the you should choose this college . I got as in General TFW candidate & my admission fee was rs 26500/- as a demand draft & gave me 1000/- rs as a semester fee & i was the topper in 2015- 2019 batch of my college in B.Tech Civil Engineering as a percentage of 86% . Now currently I am working in Aluwahalia Contracts India Limited as an Execution Engineer in Odisha .

I took the jee mains entrence examination,and got a rank around 12k then i took admission on Adams institute of technology. I took admission by online counseling which is happening in every year.Attend the counselling session and choose the college for where i qualified & complete the fee payment process. I choose this institute because distance is less from my home instead of other college. There is another college which is more closer than house college name Regent foundation, i did not apply in this college because at this time I didn't get any positive reviews from my neighborhood.

The positive side of this Adamas Institute of Technology is their Senior students. They are helpful and friendly with their junior students. And also some teachers are very helpful. The computer lab is good. The canteen is good but a little bit expensive, but they provide good food. The negative side of this college is its Placement cell. They can't provide enough on-campus placement for students.

Pros and cons both are there in every college. We need to stay and love our college. As we know we will not get those days back. I won't talk about pros and cons as I have covered those things in above stanzas.

Very co-operative and well knowledgeable. They helped us to gain more knowledge from them at free time. The faculties were very experienced, they help us a lot to learn and gain knowledge for very tough GATE exam. Yes they provide internships at various private companies on the basis of merit. They conduct an internal exam to check the ability of the students to get the intern. And they also provide placement and job opportunities.

Very strict rules. They can't deal with any type of bad behaviour from 1st to last year they similarly maintained their own system as well as they can.if any students or teacher treated badly are rusticated.
