Established in 2006, Guwahati College of Architecture and Planning is situated in Guwahati, Assam and is affiliated to Assam Science and Technology University. Founded by Dona Foundation in collaboration with Kamala Raheja Vidyanidhi Institute for Architecture and Environment Studies, Mumbai and CEPT University, Ahmedabad, Guwahati College of Architecture and Planning is approved by Council of Architecture (COA), New Delhi as well as Higher and Technical Education, Government of Assam.

GCA offers Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) and Master of Planning (Urban and Regional Planning).
Candidates who have passed 10 + 2 with PCM as compulsory subject OR Passed Diploma exam with Maths as compulsory subject are eligible to take admission to B.Arch course.
Admission to B.Arch is done on the basis of marks scored in NATA/ JEE (Paper II).

Admission:

I applied for IIT NIT SKIT but my sellection is done in VIT because JEE mains. I am from general category and I cleared jee mains so that's why I got admission in VIT. Criteria for admission is jee mains marks and 12 th board marks. No there is no admission process during consulting

I did M. Planning from GCOA which is a 2 year program. Admission process was simple. Overall experience was good. The teaching standard could improve. I made a lot of new friends during my time at the college.
