Remarks :

The best college in Guwahati for architecture course, easy admission process, good faculty-student ratio, only call on reception for Admission, vast open space and good environment for learning, I think the best college in North East for Architecture course, Faculties are good and friendly nature.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is for 5 years. Faculties are good. Faculty Student ratio is 1:5. All faculties are M.Arch or M.Plan, hold a master degree, and great teaching experience. The on-field study, and market survey, are part of teaching methods. Every 6 months, we have the final semester exam, and every month, there is a review. It is not that difficult to pass the exams.

Course Fees : INR 137000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

College offer internship in last semester. A stipend of Rs5000/- is offered and post of Junior architect is provided. Most of the task is that of a draftsman, drafting drawings in AutoCAD, and Making 3d in SketchUp, or any other software.

Placement Experience :

In the last semester, that is the 10th semester, the student is eligible for campus placement. College provides campus placement if students can't find it own there own. No companies visit salary of Rs 10k is offered to the architect. 100% of students get placement. After getting my degree, I have plans for starting some business, related to architecture.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure per semester is Rs 68,500/-, there is a scholarship for 10% for those who have 90% attendance, in all the subjects. Education Loan is provided for those needed. The internship is for 6 months, campus recruitment is provided for those needed. The stipend was Rs 5000/- for an internship period of 6 months.

Campus Life :

Campus life is great. Annual function and sports week took place every year, in the month of January. We have a large library, where all the books related to architecture is available. Classrooms are big in size. There is ground for football, volleyball, cricket, on the college campus. All students have a common WhatsApp group, to connect with each other.

Interview Experience :

There are Group Discussion for Admission. However, there is no such interview or test for admission. Anyone, who qualify the minimum criteria for admission, can take admission in the college. In just, one discussion round, you are eligible to take admission.
