College of Veterinary & Animal Science Pantnagar Placement 2025: Highest Package, Average Package, Top Recruiters

From the final year i.e. after 4.5 years students are eligible for an internship. The 6-month internship is to be done within the campus and the rest of the 6 months in another organization. Many dairy, poultry, food processing, and wool processing companies visit the college for hiring students. Also, many research fields are available after the course with great scope. Around 5 to 7 lakh per annum packages are easily available after the course which is generally offered by firms visiting the college. Best students based on their academic performances are preferred. Near about 60 to 70 % are generally getting placement. Others generally opt for further studies. AMUL, Ananda dairies, poultry firms, many renowned slaughterhouses, and research organizations are some places where veterinarians get appointed other than clinical practices.

In the last semester of, course students become eligible for placements. After completion of the degree, we can start our own private practice or we can join well-established pet clinics or animal shelters, or NGOs working for animal welfare. We can also opt for higher education like Ph.D. and can join research organizations or work as an assistant professor in veterinary colleges.

All got the option. many of the private firm approached the training and placement cell for recruitment but I opted for higher education.

Job and placement are good in the campus various companies visit for students placememt.Yes there is internship of 6 months in the last semester of degree programme attached to government hospital for 3 months and training in various department of colleges.
