Usually company hires the students from the college. The company usually looks for the grades and the folios made right from first year. Placement also depends on the last year design thesis and semester 10 results.
No placement what so ever in my college which sucks big time becuase that's what a student expects most out of in their choice of college but apparently architecture colleges don't do placement
Frankly speaking there were no Placements at our times.But now we can't say.But the Criteria for inviting companies and getting selected for job was to have good overall academics with no droupouts and first class.So at our time the overall college result was not that good.The number counts were very less.
My college doesnt provide any internship.Graduates need to make an updated portfolio of their work and need to send it out to architecture firms in which they wish to get hired. Fresh graduates can expect a decent stipend of about 12k to 35k which offcourse depends on the meritoriousness of the students.
They try to provide us an internship if u don't get an internship anywhere. And also give us the opportunity to study abroad by the student exchange program held at our college. And good workshops held in our college and abroad too.
No, Our college is not provide internship. Only students have to find out particular intern job. And Min stipend is around 6000 to 8000 rs per month.
