Good college but Small campus

Remarks :

College is just an average. But it depends on you how you make out from it.It has good library books and study materials. No extra curricular activities so often. The professor's should help students in guiding them rather than just pointing out their flaws.Management should help them.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Yes there are Study tours and industrial visits. The curriculum of B.Arch is mostly through self learning through library and the professor's mostly mentors or guide rather than teaching. You have to take efforts for learning and improve your skills. They will help you and support.

Placement Experience :

Frankly speaking there were no Placements at our times. But now we can't say.But the Criteria for inviting companies and getting selected for job was to have good overall academics with no droupouts and first class. So at our time the overall college result was not that good. The number counts were very less.

College Events :

NIASA,annual day,Freshers party, sports, trip study tour. They conduct Study tours related to the Academic s and will have good exposure to old and contemporary architecture technology and will make to participate in competitions. Those who want can opt for competitions and also will some time have Audio visual room for learning or technologies to learn or to know.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Yes they demand some Fees as donation. And the college fees now is around 90,000 per year. They demand around 8-9 lacs for securing admission.the fees are changing every year. They also ask some other charges in name of some College fund.I use to have my fees around 50-67 k.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes I opted for Educational loan.It is easy.Just check for the banks which gives educational loan and whichever you find low you can go for it.It supports alot for low Financial background people's.So after taking admission just check with banks you can get availed at any time.

Campus Life :

Mostly it is 40-60 ratio for boys and girls or some times 50-50.Students are from every corner of India. It has diversity bit Maharashtrian s will be in more strength. Some times you can get into politics As some seniors favour some people and support them.So you can feel left out some times. But Overall campus is not big.So no extra curricular activities mostly. You have Library and gym not that. Graet.Just ok.

Hostel Facilities :

No I didn't opted but from my friends that opted for Hostel tell that it's not good. And even mess is not that good.So people generally opt for rented house and share the rent. It's arount 12k for 1 bhk and 15 for 2 bhk.In sharing it can be managed. And Kharghar is good for that. Many students stay there as there are many colleges there. So easy to get house and live there.

Alumni/Alumna :

I never being with any seniors mostly. But it's average. Some are good and some are not like in every college. It depends on you and the seniors Interaction.

Admission :

I got entry through clearing Nata test. And it's mandatory to get entry in B.arch course. It's held after your twelveth HSC results. And admission starts near in July uptil August upto seats are available. Many students prefer this as there are not many options for Architecture. And even it is located near to Kharghar station in Navi Mumbai and even has many points for hangout and roam.

Faculty :

Faculty are good decent.they are M.Arch qualified and have industry experience and also new Teachers are even employed. Some teachers are well experienced and some are just started kind. But overall you can manage.more of professor's are above 35 and above. There are mixed kind of aged professor's.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a challenging course but it is also a holistic profession which includes equal amt. Of technicality and design eq which makes it a bit challenging. But it helps you with development of your skills and also helps you with personality development. You can achieve great heights in this course if you really are passionate about this field or else it will overtake your life and will make it more challenging.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is can be really complex because there are many subjects, but it can be fun when you're really focused and interested, Currently I have 11 subjects in 3rd year, but you have to be really good at time management, in order to succeed or get good grades and prepare a decent portfolio/resume for a better future/career.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The academic load is there but if at any point we have any difficulty in not completing the assignments, the faculty is understanding. It does affect the marks but you can always improve. The teaching schedule is planned and given to us. One main thing is that we started designing our own structures in first sem itself with plans elevations and sections and models of it. While the other colleges haven't done that.

Placement Experience:

From semester 8 student becomes eligible it is a period when the internships began. Students are getting placed in very good firms throughout the country and even a few of them are getting positions in foreign countries. Around 70-75% are getting hired every year but mostly based on their performance throughout the year. I'm not sure whether the companies come to college and pick students but yes students have options and opportunities to approach the firm and they certainly get placed. Even faculties are also good helpful and give the opportunity to join their firm itself.

Remarks:

The area around college is still developing and students need to travel around to find good hangout spots. They infrastructure is quite dull. They faculty are experienced but lack practicality.

Admission:

The admission is based on the NATA scores. The admission process is quite lengthy. You have to wait for the merit list.

Placement Experience:

The placement could be better. As is not able to manage placement activities in a proper way due to lack of management and managing personnel.

Placement Experience:

After a government college recognition and your portfolio work its easier to get a job. College doesn't do any placement. None of the architectural colleges do placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is good. It's putting in a lot of work, that's architecture though . Paractical learning is through site visits mostly. Any Electives can be chosen front the list provided by the university.
