It is a nice stream with various job opportunities. You will get a decent package after the completion of the course. They teach two coding languages in the first semester. There are two internal exams and one semester exam for each semester.

I feel that the curriculum should be slightly updated and newer technologies should be introduced. Exams are held quite frequently with continuous quiz assignments as well. Exams are of medium difficulty level

CSE was the branch I was looking after and I feel I am lucky that i got it too. Our curriculum has more lab sessions than classroom sessions. We are taught practically as industry experts have designed our course to ensure that we are industry ready before we have degrees in our hands.

Course relevance-8/10 Teaching methods-6/10 The courses included in the curriculum is well designed to prepare us for the real world scenarios. The teaching methods are somewhat lackluster manly due to the professors involved. Either you can be lucky and get a good professor who will help you or there might be professors who will completely ignor you.

The course curriculum at BMS College of Engineering (BMSCE) is highly regarded for its relevance and comprehensiveness. Specific aspects such as a strong focus on practical learning through labs, projects, and internships influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum is designed to provide a balance between theoretical knowledge and practical skills, ensuring students are well-prepared for real-world applications and further academic pursuits.

The curriculum offers a well-rounded education, blending core subjects with specialized topics pertinent to each field of study. For example, in engineering, subjects like mechanics, electronics, and programming are taught alongside industry-specific courses like robotics or artificial intelligence. The curriculum is structured to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. Through laboratory work, industry internships, and project-based learning, students gain hands-on experience, preparing them for professional roles or further academic pursuits like research or postgraduate studies.
