Faculties are good enough. They really help alot. Facilities of all the labs are available here except one or two laboratory.
Overall we all want placement from any colleges and here the placement is much much better. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, L & t, Mahindra etc come here for placement.

Dislikes

Location of this college is not as per your expectations. In rainy season, colleges are off because there is a lot of water surroundings in your hostel, colleges. Sometimes you have to vacate you hostel.
Only one famous shop is available m.c stores where you get edible items if you want to go restaurants, theatre, then either you take bus or you have to go through your own bike.

Admission:

The major eligibility of getting admission for this college is to pass CUSAT CAT examinations. Cutoff list will be generated from the university after examinations. It takes 1 months and then you have to do counseling for taking admission in this college. All admission process is online, also after online admission spot admission facility is available. Reservation facilities for Kerala student is too much they can take admission easily. CAT examination is not much hard you just have to learn ncert and crack the examination. Some more seats should have to increase for other states.

As the campus is very small and the no of children are very less we have a great interaction with everyone which is not possible at many of the other colleges . We have commitments with almost all the students studying there.The campus is very good

The infrastructure of the college is too bad that it has only one building and all the facilities are low. As I said before as it is located in a remote area we are not able to satisfy our needs in that particular area and is forced to move to other
town areas which is kilometres apart from the college and the transportation seems to be difficult .

Admission:

Application process was not much difficult even though it took a no of days to complete it. All the information was provided by the university itself.reservation is provided at the time of admission. There was only one exam and there was enough time for preparation.

Flood in alappuzha and water quality is bad

Admission:

After a diploma in computer engineering from the government polytechnic college Kalamassery, I attended the lateral entry test for btech. Then I got a seat at cochin university college of Engineering, Kuttanad in alappuzha district. I got admission to the 3rd semester of btech. That is one advantage of this lateral entry test. And this entrance is only for diploma holders. The admission process was very simple. The details about the admission date, and available seats, all will be published on their college website. I am a diploma holder in computer engineering. So I applied for btech in computer science and engineering. You can choose any subject. There is no college hostel. There are a lot of hostels run by the local parties around the college. They will directly contact you during the admission process in college. You can visit their hostels and can select any of them.

The admission process was simple. Go to their website and sign in and then fill up the form for the CAT exam that happens on the month of June. Rank card published on July -August. Counseling was in online mode. If u fall under any reservation categories like obc, sc Then ur fees will be very less.

Remarks:

I chose this college because it is mainly a subcampus of Cochin University of Science And Technology and the engineering department here is very famous. It has good placement records and those who score good marks in their course of study throught the 4 years, he /she can easily get placed in a good company. The average placement package her is around 5 lakhs. The highest is around 25 lakhs something. The faculties here are really excellent and they are very friendly. To get admission here you have to write the all india entrance exam called CUSAT CAT which has exam centers all over India and also abroad. The fees here is very affordable. For students in Kerala the annual fees is around 50k but for students from other states the annual fees is around 1 lakh. But since there are scholarships you will get money back after sometimes. The college campus (second campus in Kuttanad) is not very grand as you can see in private colleges. Tge compound wall is under construction and there are no big buildings and gardens. But you will find alk the essential needs here. The library is very much excellent with thousands of books and there are hostel facilities too. Ragging is prohibited here and after a couple of months joining here, you will be best friends with almost all the seniors. Overall if you chose this College you will not become disappointed at all. You will make really good memories and if you word smart you will end up getting a good job through placements. Best university and good syllabus

Admission:

I like IT field and cusat university is the best university in Kerala. First there was an entrance exam and I scored a good rank in it and I got admission in the second campus of the cusat university. On the day off admission we deposited the semester fee and I took admission in cucek on the next day.
