How To Apply for CUSAT Programs?
Follow the steps outlined below to apply for any program at Cochin University of Science & Technology.
- Visit the CUSAT website at @admissions.cusat.ac.in.
- Click the "CUSAT CAT" link.
- Click on "New Candidate Registration"
- Fill out the needed information.
- Submit your application form.
- Please check your registered email for an activation link.
- Tap the activation link.
- Log into your account.
- Fill up the application form.
- Upload documents.
- Pay the application fee
CUSAT Programs Eligibility Criteria
To apply for Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) programs, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria listed below.
- MBA Program-
- Have at least 50% aggregate marks in the bachelor's degree.
- Obtain a valid score in KMAT, CMAT, or CAT (IIM).
- Pass a group discussion and personal interview conducted by CUSAT.
- Meet the minimal passing marks in the qualifying degree if you belong to Kerala Scheduled Caste (KSC) or Kerala Scheduled Tribe (KST).
- Meet the minimal passing marks plus a 5% relaxation if you belong to Kerala's SEBC and are confirmed as belonging to the non-creamy layer.
- M.Tech Program-
- Obtain a Bachelor's Degree with at least 60% or a CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale.
- Have a valid GATE score in the relevant field of study.
- If you do not have a GATE score, you can take the CUSAT Department Admission Test (DAT).
- PhD Program-
- Obtain a Master's degree from a recognized university with at least 55% marks or a CGPA of 6.0.
- Pass the Departmental Admission Test (DAT) administered by the university.
- Meet the DAT's minimal passing score, which is 50% for general candidates and 45% for SC/ST candidates.
- Be interviewed by the Research Committee or its assigned sub-committee.
- Submit a research idea along with your application
All information on the candidate's admission status and schedule will be sent to the email address and phone number they provide throughout the admission process. Once submitted, these credentials cannot be changed.
