- Cusat soe gives a great a campus life with various clubs and activities that provide a rich college experience. However, there are complaints about the lack of proper canteen facilities and issues with stray animals on campus.

The admissions process is based on the cusat Entrance exam(Cusat CAT) On the basis of cat rank the allotment process takes. The eligible students can apply for the allotment process and they can arrange and remove courses. if you have any reservation, you can avail that reservation for admission. The first three allotments were online and last, there was a real-time admission on cusat campus. After the admission process was completed, there was a spot admission for vacant seats.

To get an admission in cochin University of Science and Technology is based on their entrance examination named on Cusat CAT. The eligibility criteria is you want to score a minimum marks in their Computer based mcq entrance examination. There are three subjects just like Jee exam Maths, Chemistry and physics the only difference is the examination time, Cusat cat only 180mins for 200 questions so you will get less than one minute for one question. The applications normally starts from march and the exam will conduct on may or June. The reservations available in Cusat Is OBC, OEC, SC, ST.The allotment process is through online and they conduct a real time counselling and spot admissions. And the basic cut off of Most demanded course in Cusat is Fire and safety that's around below 1500 and other branches will come after this.

- The things I liked about my college is it's openess . Everybody is treated as an individual here there's no bossing around or anything .
- Atmosphere ; the campus is quite big & there are a lot of things to explore

- Attendance regulation is very strict,& sometimes they even cut out attendance for trivial issues
- Lab & classes are very distant from each other ,sometimes we have to walk a lot during break

You should be a science student in +2 & should pass ithe exam with appropriate marks The application form & everything is available in the Cusat website. Cat exam is conducted once every year for btech & other courses.Its quite difficult but will be easy if your are preparing for JEE /neet exams.

Cusat has conducted cat exam for admission. They updated about the exam through mail to th id given. The admission procedure after clearing the exam was easy. They gave us all the details about admission procedure and made it very easy. The faculties at the admission area were super helpfull. Admission procedure in my university was good. I have no more suggestions about it.

- It's too damn hot in the classes especially during summer.
- Some of the first year faculty are very bad but they're only for first year.

?You are eligible for the course only if you have passed both 10th and 12th or equivalent. ?One can find all the application related stuff at cusat.ac.in ?Exam was not as tough as JEE but still some questions were hard.There was only one hour alloted for each subject beyond which you could not access the questions of the subject. ?The spot admission process could have been a little more smoother.

What would I get with a rank of 6000 in the CUSAT main campus (SOE)?
Your chances are pretty slim of getting to the main campus. But then you can always take a shot and go sit for the spot rounds that take place. Make sure you don’t miss that.
My friend get into the Mechanical branch even when he had a rank of 8000. It was even before the NRI quota was introduced. But as you may understand, this was just an exception in the odds. The competition gets tougher and tougher each year and with your rank, I am really worried you may not end up getting it.
But yes, a silver lining for you would be that you may stand a chance at their second campus and that too, for the IT branch. You have certain possibilities here.
