Course Curriculum Overview :

Class starts from 9 and ends at 4 . Class rooms are not air conditioning. Also climate is very hot . Staffs are very friendly. labs are good . Class room is a little bit congested. Teachers are friendly

Placement Experience :

From 7th sem onwards you are eligible for placement I guess Name of companies visited are gail vedanta cairn Tata projects Kec Amazon Etc etc It have 100% placement Top companies like Indian oil also visit cusat

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee for state merit students is 29000 /- Fee for all India merit students is 51000/- Sc/st/oec student's sem fee is 520 /- There are various types of scholarships Like egrants Muthoot schoolship Reliance schoolship etc

Admission :

You should write cat exam to get admission in cusat It is a computer based exam 3 subjects mainly physics chemistry and maths You can apply for cat exam through cusat site Reservation like ews sc or st or oec have good benefits

Faculty :

Very good qualified faculties all over the campus....especially soe teachers..teachers interact with students in a very good manner ... Good friends. If you study well placement is sure . Campus is awesome. But climate is not good

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
