Faculties games room and cafeteria are the best places to visit after the classes.
My Department has the best faculties and there's no doubt in it.

Dislikes

Things I disliked about my college is the students some students are very ill mannered and not at all disciplined
Sometimes due to combined classes the class becomes very uncomfortable to sit and attend, that must be stopped

Likes

The best thing about besc is the faculty . Top notch faculty with everyone either being CA/CS or Doing phd after MCom
The extra co-curricular activity provided by the college and encouragement to participate in them.

Dislikes

Lack of hostel facilities for boys. Only reliable on pgs and rented rooms in the area.
Lack of proper proper training ground for sports. Only reliable on turf located in the college.

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester a student is fit for applying into internship programs . TCS comes for internship trainees and other companies like caviro too. The placement drive is quite high and after 5th semester all the companies come to recruit employees for them.

Different activities to and the teaching staff too is well behaved
Teachers are very frank and understanding and the college is overall a good place

Dislikes

The campus is small and there is no ground or anything like that
The campus is so small its like getting in and them coming out

Course Curriculum Overview:

According to my course everything is well and good . The notes are given according to our syllabus. Examination time is also suitable but for me the checking of the Examination is not lenient at all. My course is quite easy for me and its all about learning about the society and all.

Our college emphasizes on all kinds of co curriculum activities
It has a great track record in the field of sports and athletics

Dislikes

Low attendance compulsion for the students
All classrooms have air conditioning facility

Placement Experience:

The students from semester 3 are also given opportunities for internships in various companies which leads to experience and exploring of the real world.there are various companies such as lenakart ,and boat offering placements in our college.the average percentage of students getting the placements is around 30 percent.

The college is very far from my home it should be near
The college not have a good placement record according to past years

Placement Experience:

The placemnts are not so good and not so bad its average as the bcom course generally provides 2 to 5 lpa package and this college also provides like this only 3 to 5 lpa my pov on this is that its good that the placements ratio is 40 to 50 percent

Teachers organise revision before every exam and doubt sessions in the library for any problems faced by the student.
Frequent seminars and workshops on relevant topics that students would find helpful for their own career goals.

Dislikes

Minimal activities in clubs and societies.
Partiality among some students and ex students.

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities are really good, companies like kpmg, deloitte and E&Y are regular visitors of the placement hall and have good packages but they have limited job roles, the most being the tax consultant. Although not all the students get to sit in the placement due to 2 reasons. 1. They might pursue CA and CS or CMA. And it might be that their articleship will be going on at that time. 2. They might have back papers. This sounds a bit odd, but having back papers in Calcutta University is a common site. Believe it or not B.Com in Calcutta University is much tougher than other universities.

Great ambience, the classroom size is of 100 students
Many extra curricular activities , lots of seminars every week , huge canteen and good food with supportive staff

Dislikes

The washroom could be more cleaner and better, overall the hygiene is not so good
The water taste could be much better, I don’t like the taste of water honestly

Placement Experience:

From semester 4 there's employment opportunities and the jobs are usually around 12,000 - 18,000 can go upto 25,000 depending on the students skills and internships and experiences. I don't have knowledge about the highest avg package.

Life in the BHAWANIPUR COLLEGE

The College Campus is itself the best in entire Kolkata.
The College provides with the best faculty and is a good college for students doing professional courses.

Dislikes

The Campus is a bit small as compared to others.
The College fees is high for students who do not have high marks in 12th.

Placement Experience:

Yes there are placements in the college. There are repudiated company which visit for campus placement. Some of the company are Tata Steel , ITC INDIA PVT LTD , AND Some other companies.I have no information about the highest package of the placement. The placement is more high for BBA STUDENTS. My plan after getting degree is to pursue my higher studies and do M.com with the Bhawanipur College.

The events held in college are super exciting and increases our cultural activities

There is nothing as such i disliked about my college

Placement Experience:

Basically , the college provides internship opportunities from various companies. From 5th semester (last year) one is eligible for the campus placements. There are companies based on stock market and marketing.who come and take the interview of the students. Around 70% of the students get placed with avergae package of 1.5lpa.

I am doing bcom hons and the education in bhawanipur is really good and teacher teaches very good. Bcom is the best couse to do in bhawanipur education society and i love to learn about marketing and many more.
