Course Curriculum Overview :

The faculty is very good and helpful and the syllabus is greatly prepared and the exam is going on very frequently as there is different kind of tests like practical exams , midsems and end sems and Continuous Internal Assessment

Class Size : 58Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Ok so there are different event going on you can sit with your department faculty to discuss about internship opportunities or you can apply through placement cell or different society events where companies come to pick intenerns

Placement Experience :

The placement cell of the college brings companies and you can apply for a job according to their wants. There are companies like ZXomato, Microsoft, google , etc. that visited our college and as far as i heard the average packakage is 600000 LPA

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Generally you don't need to take tution because the faculty is very good so the course cost is nearly 2 lac and depending on your travel costs calculate your total cost and the semester fees is taken in 2 installments

Campus Life :

The life in collegeis very good and happening there are vairous societies in the college where you can also make friends out of department and in the campus there is no ragging and the seniors are bery good and helpful and there are a lots of fests going on throughout the event so i can guarantee that you will enjoy the collehe life but a departmental or society fest doesn't mean a holiday

Admission :

The admission process is totally dependent on marks obtained in 10+2 level and depending on your marks you get admission and the cutoff goes a little high try to get more than 95% in boards to secure admission in st Xavier's college and generally there are 2 to 3 lists for and if you are opting for statistics hons try to get 99 or 100 in maths or statistics that will help you to clear the cut off

Advantages of joining Adamas University

Placement Experience:

The placements provided by adamas university are really good, it basically depends on the student and his own knowledge and skills, but still the placements of adamas are really good. For biochemistry, placements are good only after masters. After Bsc there are jobs but they won't pay that much which you can get after completing Msc. And there are very few jobs of biochemistry in India. But you'll have a great scope in abroad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course curriculum & faculty members are quite good, 1st of all I have preferred Bsc Biotech because of my extreme interest in genetic engineering & upcoming situations of Covid 19. Also, this subject has a possibility for a Blooming future in the upcoming days of the Pandemic/epidemic. The Faculty in This college is quite good & The laboratory benefits & materials are also Supportive & workable, This college provides one of the oldest Biotech labs in West Bengal. The student ratio is also balanced. Saying about Qualification of the faculty, The Professors have atleast 6-10 yrs of teaching exp and research performs in their career, they are all friendly & supportive and helps us to explore more in this subject The term exams are Moderate & have standard questions.

Remarks:

This college still today stands to be among the first choice of every student in the hooghly district and 2nd in the Burdwan University. The only negative part is that this college has a very high political presence in the campus. Though the present government said that they oppose such strong political holds in colleges but still this words has not been kept.
