Morning class in winter should start from 8 A.M because it is very cold in Ranchi in winter

Exams are not timely. There are more students in the college than actually needed.

BA in Political Science is just a generic course in this college. The syllabus that they follow is of Age old Ranchi University. It needs to change. There is a big scope for that. They should improve it.

I liked the overall atmosphere of the college. I really appreciated how the college has all the facilities for students like canteens, drinking water
The teachers were also friendly and were open to interactions. They helped with many projects and doubts.

Dislikes

Some of the washrooms came out to be dirty and not maintained. The sanitary pad boxes were empty.
There were always loud noises coming from auditoriums when there were functions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had always wanted to choose this course. I always had a keen interest in english language and culture. Studying this in Xavier's made me get a strong hold of the language and vocabulary. It sharpened my ability to think and analyse. This particular course also kind of prepares you for the real world experiences. The teachers used different methods of teaching. The only thing I would want to be improved is that some professors just read out the text without making the points clear. So that I one minus point I would say. The exams conducted are not too hard or not too easy. By writing exam you can also increase your writing speed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I pursued this course because this course not only helps us to know about the history of English but also helped me to enhance my knowledge and helps me to do critical things as well. This curriculum will help me for my further studies as I want to be a professor too. Till today I didn't find any areas where improvement is needed. The timings of exams and difficulty level depends on ourselves as if we are prepared before hand there's not soo difficulty.

Placement Experience:

The placement are good enough like the packages cross 12 lakh minimum and 28 lakh maximum but yes the student must be qualified enough to attain that package like the placement packages ratios are 6:10 you can say.

Placement cell is there which provides placement but no relevant job is found according to the curriculum. If you're good enough to think n sort things and present yourself you'll definately get the placement offer

I like the way my teachers teaches me and I like the cleanliness of my college and books. I love the canteen food they serve it in a very higinic way and with spoon,fork and tissues . there is parking area as well.
My principal is very good and teachers are very professional.

Dislikes

There is nothing to be disliked according to me
Every one is perfect at their jobs and field they belong to.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semister. I am currently in 1st semister. Average package is 200000 and highest package is 250000 or above . 88% or above gets the opportunity of placement . My plan in to serve the society and be socially best person and serve as more as possible and make groups and serve as many people as possible.

The thing i like most about this college is discipline. The exams are conducted regularly.
Talking about infrastructure it is very clean.

Dislikes

Everything inside the college is good except the girls washroom. It is poorly maintained,unhygienic.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had great interest for learing the past that's why I selected history honours. There was 6 semesters. There were 2 compulsory papers and 1 generic paper in sem 1 and 2. In 3rd,4th,5th and 6th sem they have 3 compulsory papers and 1 generic. You will get option to choose generic after admission process is completed. There were 7 faculties for history honours including HOD. We had a class of 75 students in day section. The faculties are very cooperative and supportive. The professors were highly qualified. Most of them have doctorate degree. Some professors provided notes and some of them refered books for self study. So there were total 6 semesters. Each paper was for 100 marks. You have to give mid sem of 30 marks in which 15 marks was given in assignment and 15 marks was mid sem. End sem comprises of 70 marks. If you study well in class you can get decent score in exam. One thing I like about Xavier's is that they conducted exam regulary on time.
