Not sure about the ratio of faculty to student ratio. However everyone is so nice and helpful. They would help you out anytime. As i study geography the geogra Department staff and teachers are very nice and help you out and would clear every doubt. There are one exam per semester. The papers are moderate not very difficult. Mostly all students clear the exams.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is quite comprehensive and covers a wide range of topics relevent to the field. one of the aspects that infulenced my decision to choose this course was the inclusion of practical subjects that align with current industry requirements. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for real world challenges.

Exactly don't know about the ratio but there are less number of teachers in ratio to students I like Natasha Malhotra because her teaching style is best...she approaches very well and friendly too I don't think Aparna Rai because she is arrogant and She is too rigid nd not even try to understand problem which could be genuine There are.semester wise exams and questions asked were not too hard not too easy..

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course particularly because I have interest in geography and my needs meet well with the course curriculum of my college It prepares well because subjects are quite relevant in day to day life Teaching methods could be improved and it should be made interactive with the students and written work could be managed Frequency and timing of exam are good ...not a major issue

Faculty

The student to faculty ratio is overall maintained where classes are even segregated into groups depending upon the overall class size. There are even tutorial lectures which are small batches of students ensuring the easy understanding of each student. However the problem lies at the teaching quality where teachers are not adept with proper training of teaching leaving most students at their own mercy. Nevertheless they are great scholars but bad teachers. Studies at the end becomes only examination based and exams are also marked at the basis of how many pages you are able to fill rather than the content you write.

Fees and Financial Aid

College is just like any other government college with minimal fees of about 16000-17000 roughly for my course. However the amount is not even less for other humanities courses like political science, sociology, etc. which is purely theoretical sciences. I believe fees is same regardless of any caste other than the EWS category and my college provides numerous scholarships for students mainly on need based however few are merit based as well. Overall it provides great opportunity for those who is in special need of this benefit

Fees and Financial Aid

My first year fees was 17410Rs then in second year I payed 16310 only along with that we need to pay 1400 rs per semester as examination fees. There is no such charges division provided by college everything is included in college fees itself. There is no reservation on fees and each and everyone has to pay equal amount of fees The college itself provides many scholarships opportunities such as merit scholarship and alumnae scholarship ( mostly covers college fees) On the other hand there are many government funded scholarship such as nsp worth 12k ( science students have many scholarships options then arts students) and other scholarship funded by private entities ( approx 60k) for private funded scholarship we are required to give interview and test. But the only condition is that you can opt for only one scholarship.

Faculty

The faculty students ratio is great infact sometimes we are taught the same subject by different teachers . The faculty are assigned according to their expertise in the field. Miranda House teachers I guess are more sweet and approachable then others colleges teachers. There are 3 core exam one ge exam and 3 others which includes AEC( language and EVs alternatively each semester) sec (you can choose practical or theory or both and you are required to give exam of the latter two' s) and vac ( exam criteria is again same as sec)

Many cultural programs are conducted here on festivals. All types of books are available in the library and proper arrangements have been made for the students to sit. Apart from this, AC facility is also available in the library. There are many games available for sports and there are various types of committees which help students to develop the thinking of living a normal life.

Faculty

The student-teacher ratio in this school is quite good. There are around 3000 students studying in this school and there are around 200 teachers for all of them. I liked the library facility of the school the most because apart from being a big library, it has all kinds of books which can be issued for 14 days. Here two exams are conducted in a year semester wise.
