First of all, I'm a UPSC aspirant so I took BA as my course which can make me aware of subjects like political science and economics. The faculty in our college is good and they explain very well. The teacher allow us to make presentations so that our skills will be increased. As we all know that the semester will be there every 4 months. And the difficulty to pass the exams at Delhi University is not that hard the people who are frequently attending the classes can easily pass the exams.
From 2nd year onwards many companies like EDtech company and many others' The highest is like 10lakh per annum and avg would be 5lakh per annum. 60% From the beginning, I was into UPSC so after degree I would like to prepare for UPSC
Placements occur in the last year of college which is the 5th and 6th semesters, students pursuing honours, BSc and other technical aspects have a high chance of getting into placements, ba programme students have the least advantage of placements, I have no idea of what companies have come since I'm a student of ba programme.
I did HPG in 11 and 12th standard so I am okay with all human subjects I want to learn the actual things which are happening in the world like the economy in the country so economics will help me and political science help me to understand the situations in a country and also I can know the government policies and ruling. The faculty is good but it won't be like 11 and 12th standard where the teachers will bother about our studies. The teaching will be good but we have to revise and research the topics otherwise it could be somewhat rough. the gap between term exams will be 2 to 3 months and it's hard to pass.
I chose this course because I am interested in Geography and would like to study it further. The college has enough faculty but might lack in some courses, so look out for that. The professors are good and they take criticisms of their methods well, but some might be a little overbearing. They are all MAs and Ph.D.s. The exams have been somewhat late until now because of timeline shifts due to covid, it is difficult but you can pass if you study well enough.
I chose this course because I am very much interested in political science and history and those subjects will help me in the civils also so that's the reason I opt for these subjects. And here we can see highly educated professors who have completed their MA, PhD and someone of them even cleared civils also
It was my favorite subject so I chose this. And it has a decent job with an average pay scale. Faculty per student ratio is 1:30, but there are tuition(tute) sessions, in which 1:5 teacher: student is 1:5, and they hear and solve every issue you have, either in study or outside of study. exams are semester-wise, and if you understand the subject, it's a cup of cake then.
I chose this course because you will get a lot of carrier options. The faculty members are extremely sweet and extremely talented. They not only teach us the syllabus but we get to learn a lot from them. The exams are held timely and it's difficult but if you study decently then you won't find it that hard.
There was nothing called an exam for admission to Delhi University. But from the 2022 session, there will be an entrance exam which is new. There are many internships offered that one can come by. Many many internships. Two internships in a week. The stipends are also nice. Minimum 5000 per month and there are many internships opportunity which is stipended less too
Placements are provided to students from the 2nd semester .many private companies visit annually like Amazon, byju's , unacademy, etc. to offer their jobs. The highest package is 1900000 and the average package is 724000. 80% of total students who applied for the placements are selected and get a good position. After graduation, I'll apply for post-graduation at DSE.
