As it is a Centra university the fees that I paid is not much it's affordable. 1st year I paid 14160. 2nd year I paid 13000 around. 3rd year I paid 12000 around. And coming to the it's an yearly basis payment which is affordable. Caution fee is around rs 1500 to 3000 and some maintainance charges are also there. There is no need of any lab payment as I am an economics student there is no need of any lab requirement so there is no such thing . For SC ST categories they needed to pay but if their parents are not paying any income tax after the submission of affidavit and with due verification of the documents they are paid back their money .Special Financial Assistance is extended by the College to select students.Needy students should apply for the financial assistance which is provided by the college there are such scholarship based on merit which gives financial support to the students who are in need. Few students are financially assisted at time of admission by the college selection

Coming to the overall course fee for three years it is 60 K. There isn't much hike in the prices as Delhi University is a central university and is affordable. But looking at education fees for three years including food, accommodation, travel, expenses, and course fees, it was 5 L. There are many scholarships offered by the college for students like Ved jolly etc and also they have awards every year which have cash prizes. Many students benefit from the Inspire scholarship too. I was in NCC so didn't have much time for jobs but took research internships and participated in competitions which gave me 2 to 4K.

Miranda House

4.5Helpful

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

College fees were around 12,500 per year. We had to pay 500 per semester as exam fees (so 1000 per year) After graduation, Certificates (provisional and migration) will cost 500 each. The biggest cost factor is that seats in hostel are limited. Hostel fees are around 6000 per month including food electricity laundry. However most are unable to avail it as seats are as low as 5 per course. while we have over 50 per course. The rest have to find other means of accommodations which are most of the times very costly in delhi.

Miranda House

3.4Helpful

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

There were no hikes in our course fees throughtout the three years. The fees is comparatively quite less compared to other colleges in India including public and private colleges. Along with the college fee, an examination fee is to be paid for every semester examination (1300-1600 for chemistry department). There are quite a few scholarships available in the chemistry department, which are mostly merit-based and depend on the performance of students in examinations.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Students are expected to pay the fees on a yearly basis and being a government institution, the fees of English honours in Miranda is about 12-13000, which is to be paid in one installment at the beginning of every year. I think it's the most convenient sum. Talking about scholarships, the college offers multiple scholarships from time to time. It also offers scholarships to students from certain parts of India for their admission.

4.7Helpful

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

fee structure varies upon the course you select depending upon that the course fee varies. For example, science courses usually offer fees on the higher end. But the average difference between maximum and minimum fees is not above 4 to 5000 so the fee structure is comparatively and relatively affordable for students to enroll in at the same time. Miranda house offers variety of scholarships based upon your social and educational background. So no student is left out upon this marvellous opportunity.

The fee structure was - 20,000 per year ( for total 3 years). And it was worth it. Also the hostel fee wasn't included in this. It was to be paid separately. I don't have much idea about hostel fees because I didn't stay at hostel, I used to come directly from my home in Ghaziabad. Also, for some students, if financial assistance was required, the college did provide that too, providing that the student had proper documents for proving the need of financial assistance. The campus has a placement cell unit in which one registers and gets to know the upcoming internship and job opportunities available through campus. I also did one Content Writer Internship in the first year only through the same placement cell. And I must say, the placement cell of Miranda House is one of the most active and strongest one all over the Delhi University.
