As this college has NIRF ranking of 1 for consecutive 5 years so obviously that states there must be something special about it , firstly it has safe environment for girls inside this college and the security is tight. Secondly the labs are the most important part for my course so it has the best lab that I've ever seen.

Actually I thought of taking economics honours so i preferred best colleges for my course firstly I choosed Shri Ram College of commerce but the cutoff they have is not meeting my marks because of the deduction of not having economics in my 12th class so I was not able to join it and the second best college for me is Miranda house for my course so i researched about colleges and joined in this college finally.i I got seat in this college in the 1st cutoff itself. No college rejected me mainly i didn't apply for any other college because I got Miranda in 1st chance so i am very happy with this so i didn't apply and I didn't get any rejection. When I joined it's in 2020 at time of COVID it was a merit based admission means they used to calculate the marks of 12th class marks and they get the percentage and they releases cutoff and then we need to check it and apply for those colleges if everything the documents and eligiblity is correct we get the seat in the college.

Admission:

The admission Process was very smooth as I was enrolled on a merit basis in 2020 on board marks. For my admission, the cutoff was 94 %. The university opens applications through the CSAS portal every year in May or June. The administration staff is very cordial. I didn't take any reservations. I was enrolled in the general category. Now there isn't any separate exam, everyone has to take CUET for admission and then fill out the DU form. The university should guide students more on selecting preferences in the application process and also help them with accommodation by increasing hostel seats.

The admission process has changed. We were the last batch to get in via our board marks. Now you have to give CUET along with having good marks in your boards. For CUET, you should be in the top 1% in percentile to qualify for MH as the competition for getting in is supersaturated.

Admission:

Before NEP, the eligibility for the course was solely based on the marks secured in CBSE XII examinations. In 2021, the cutoff for Chemistry hons started at 97.33 (Gen). Now, CUET-UG is required. The cutoffs for which will be on the basis of percentile ranks. Its helpful to check last year's CUET cutoffs to check your eligibility. I did not avail reservations, but they are extremely important.

The admission process is pretty convenient as most of it is done online so you don't really have to travel. You will need to give the CUET exam for the entrance and then enroll at DU's CSAS portal. Reservation benefits are available but I don't know to what extent they work as I, myself had scored good enough to get into Miranda without it. Exams happen on a semester basis, which makes it quite easy, honestly.

The year I was enrolled in was the year when CET was first introduced so it was a very extensive and hectic process. So we were the first one to experience a entrance exam for due at the same time, I realise it was a much easier and simple process to get yourself enrolled in due because earlier the process was responsive and illogical before the introduction of CUET, the cut-offs were introduced stage wise of phase wise which kept the student busy in the entire admission process, but CUET made it simple and quicker in that way

Admission:

I took admission in 2019, a year before Covid shook us all. So, I simply registered for Delhi University UG admissions 2019, and the day 1st cutoff was supposed to release, I saw that my overall percentage of class 12th boards does fall under the given category in Zoology honors bsc, in Miranda House college. So, I took all of my documents in the file, to the college campus and went for offline document verification and seat confirmation there. So, before covid, all this process used to be offline only. But now the process has changed totally. Now everything is online. Also, now, 12th boards percentage doesn't gets count in, for the admission, one has to clear CUET UG for the same.
