The Chemistry honors curriculum's core papers are extremely important and useful to provide you with a strong foundation for your masters (atleast theoretically). At Miranda, whatever was taught to us during the course was enough to clear entrance examinations like JAM or GATE with just a little more practice. We received useful materials and resources throughout the course from our faculty as well as our helpful seniors. Since I was in the post-pandemic batch (2021) the first year was quite hectic in terms of exams and fitting in the curriculum in a short amount of time. But after the first year, we got well-adjusted with our schedules, timings for the labs, and preparation for examination. I have applied for Masters abroad, and the curriculum is accepted in several European Universities as well as UK universities.

I am interested in the research sector, especially in nanoparticles so I opted for chemistry hons. Specifically, Delhi University has always been a great attraction for students. And the faculty for our department is appropriate in number. There is 1 teacher for every 10 -15 students. Most of the faculty members have done Ph.D. And exams come of moderate level which is always from the curriculum studied in the class.
Chemistry was my favorite subject among all the science subjects so I decided to go for graduation in this subject. The faculty-to-student ratio in Miranda house is 70:1. The teachers are really good and the college provides enough internships for the students to get an edge in their subject.
