In first year generally all branches students have same curriculum , like we too have subjects like electrical and physics , though there are 2 to 3 department related subjects in each branch for some basic information of the course to students , the exams are scheduled to be in November, December, march and may

I choose this course because I have an interest in textile technology and polymer science, and I have a family background in Textile looms. Our facilities are good, all the senior faculties did masters or Ph.D. in their subjects. There are also some temporary faculties, some of them aren't that interactive to teach us, they are just doing their duty. Our term exams are conducted per semester wise. Exams are pretty decent, but still, you can pass them by studying 2 hr a day before 10 days of exam. For passing you have to take min 40% marks in each subject.
As it is the government college the fees were very less compared to other colleges and reserved category candidates can avail scholarships.I got the job as junior underwriter at situsAmc. Many companies visited during covid pandemic also so if you study at VJTI you don't have to worry about placements.
100000, Per annum in 1992. Expensive on those times as grants were withdrawn by the Govt to the college in those times most of the colleges. Got Govt grant for each student but the same was. Withdrawn for VJTI as it choose to classify as a private college and not a Government college.
60,000 rs per year for general students. Yes transparency in fee breakdown is provided eg :- tution fee, library fee,id card fee etc. Scholarships are provided to students according to government regulations and needy students as well. Mode of payments is online as well as offline for the courses, most of the students prefer to pay thourough netbanking option.
Fee structure for reserve categories are around 80k per year and for open categories it ia around 1.5lpa. VJTI college also offers some scholarships and financial support for economical backward ckasses.
It is a government College but in now days the fees are hiked a lot to much. For over batch it was 60k but now a days its beyond 90k and that is a lot for a government College. I will say its an expensive College
Being government college VJTI has very less fees as compared to other major engineering college. Mtech fees is also very less. The fees for btech students is around 70k for one year and every year it decreases.
The fees at VJTI is affordable because it is a state government funded college. The facilities provided are very good - Air-conditioned classrooms with projectors, etc. Sports facilities include football ground, cricket ground and a tennis court which is under construction at this point in time
Out of textile engineering from VJTI and CS from KJ Somaiya, CS from Somaiya will be a better choice. As one of my friends studied there, I am able to share some facts about it.

Choosing textile engineering from the VJTI can get a bit tricky further in your career. CSE is a much more reliable branch on which to focus your career. But if a person is interested in the textile branch and without any second thought, opt for VJTI, and if not then for KJ Somaiya.
