Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course because I have an interest in textile technology and polymer science, and I have a family background in Textile looms. Our facilities are good, all the senior faculties did masters or Ph.D. in their subjects. There are also some temporary faculties, some of them aren't that interactive to teach us, they are just doing their duty. Our term exams are conducted per semester wise. Exams are pretty decent, but still, you can pass them by studying 2 hr a day before 10 days of exam. For passing you have to take min 40% marks in each subject.

Internships Opportunities :

All the big tech giants came here like Google, Microsoft, Apple, Samsung, L&T, DeShaw, Goldman Sachs, etc. we apply for internships from the second year (3rd semester) on our own basis or by campus mode. for the internships from the campus, you have the criteria of min 7 CGPA for eligibility. You can do the projects according to the job roll you targeting, students clubs will help you during the projects.

Placement Experience :

VJTI's most highlighting point is the placements. you can be eligible for placements from your 4th year means the 7th semester, you can also apply for internships for the 3rd semester. all the top companies like Amazon, Apple, Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Deshaw, etc came here. our highest package is 68LPA and the average package is 8.5LPA. All the students get placed in the college, some can prepare for tech placements from core backgrounds. I have to work on my own start-up after completing my degree, before that during the college period for work experience I am doing internships.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

the fee structure is like for open category fees is 85000 per year, for OBC and EWS 45000, and for SC/ST 4000. the scholarship is given to us by means of concession in fees which Post a Matric Scholarship. College fees are ok because of the return on investment. our average package is around 8.5LPA. from second-year college provides us with internship opportunities in means time of summer and winter vacations.

Campus Life :

our annual techfest is Technovanza, culture fest is Rangavardhan, E-cell fest is Wallstreet. Technovanza is aspies 4th largest tech fest this is very exciting and lot of fun. There is a huge library with a lot of books needed for the college curicullum. but the library is open only up to 8 PM. all of the classrooms are digitally equipped, with a projector, smartboard, AC, wifi. we have a lot of sports like Cricket, basketball, table tennis, volleyball, football, badminton, carrom, and chess. but the in-house games have limitations they are only open between 9 to 5 and at the same time we have lectures. our student clubs are top-notch which are SRA, Technovanca, VR, Aero, COC, GDSC, Techno, Pratibimb, and E-cell. They are very supportive, you can learn and explore all the skills in these clubs.

Admission :

The admission is based n the entrance exam. The exam name is MHT-CET conducted by CET cell Maharashtra. for taking admission to VJTI you must have to take around 95 percentile in MHTCET. sometimes it may be down for the reservation category. You can also get reservation benefits for your admission fees also. There is the down point is that MHTCET admissions are starting after the JOSSA because of that students get confused about college choices.

Students become eligible for placement from 7th sem but the training and stuff starts from 5th sem onwards. I don't really know much about the placements since I'm not planning on doing job after graduation and probably gonna do masters in the future.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So to be honest B.E course is a 4 years engineering course and it is not that easy and not too hard also. It needs a lot of focus, hardwork and practice to clear all exams. There are bunch of students who takes admission in B.E in first year but most of the students do back off in second year or some of them gets failed and gets an year drop. B.E course can be more efficient if we follow the teaching pattern like abroads. Less theory more practicals for students to understand properly.

From 7th and majorly form the 8th semester the students become eligible for the campus placement. Every year many companies visit our college like Goldman Sachs, Google, Infosys ,TCS , oracle, etc and offer a great amount of package to many students many students even get PPO. The highest package of this year was somewhere 61LPA and the average was 9 LPA. Somewhere around 82-83% students were placed this year and with good amount of packages My plan after getting the degree is pursuing a master's degree in abroad
