My Personal Experience in JMC

I liked the campus life, the diverse and interesting crowd. Some of the faculty were helpful. The non-teaching staff was amazing, they were very helpful and truly cared for the students. The infrastructure, clubs
and fest are vast in variety and they're bustling with energy. I explored alot and grew more in confidence and networking.

Dislikes

Some of the faculty in our college haven't been good at teaching and would rather seem underqualified to be a professor. There have been blantant instances of internal politics in different departments which I particulary do not like.

Faculty:

The faculty-student ratio is good, most of the professors are approachable and helpful. Some however can come off as strict but most professore have a decent and friendly personality. I had 4 subjects and 6 semesters so, 24 exams in total for me (Non- NEP batch), there were some students who used to get back in their exams but overall the exams are not that hard, if one studies for 2-4 days - they can easily score a decent mark. Some courses felt relevant while there were few which felt useless to study for our course for example we had to study EVS in semester 1.

I like the place where it is situated and the place is very clean.
I like it's structure .the structure of college is fabulous

Faculty:

I don't know about it anymore but the faculties are well educated and well disciplined they talk to us very politely, they always ask for our comfort zone and always teach us a life lesson also. They are teachers but good friends also.

attendance criteria is too strict, should include lenient markings
the college washrooms should include more western toilets for

Faculty:

The faculty members are great, very educated, and interested in their course of study. all classes are taken seriously and there are barely any missed sessions. if any class is missed it is made sure that next time we make up for it. each teacher is well qualified in their field and approachable for doubts within college hours.

The college infrastructure is beautiful, the campus is very large filled with lush greenery and a large library that is air conditioned.
The college faculty is highly educated and most of them hold a PhD degree, they are very helpful and kind at times of need.

Dislikes

Students do not have a way to connect with their seniors and some don't even know who their seniors are.
The library may not always have all the books you need.

Faculty:

The faculty is highly educated, most of them are very kind and would help you when you find it difficult to understand a concept. There are some of them who may be biased towards some students but this happens very rarely. The faculty knows how to make students understand a concept very easily by giving real world examples. Some of them are so friendly that you can even call them whenever you want to clarify your doubts. My learning experience was too good with all my department faculty members. They all are highly approachable and kind.They are always their to guide you whenever you are lost in your way.

The faculty is very approachable , friendly and helpul , they stay updated with the latest advancements in their field , the professors are highly educated and professional. The teaching method is innovative and practical such as project based learning which enhance the critcal thinking skills , overall the facutly members are good with their work

The college has vibrant and huge campus of all du colleges with numerous societies and clubs focusing on different interest
There are many sessions conducted on which big entrepreneurs and leaders are invited like aman gupta and kiran bedi.

Dislikes

The thing i disliked is hard to tell but there were some like non availability of ac in classrooms in scorching heat there was only one in library.

Faculty:

the faculty to student ratio was quite appropriate never had to feel like there should be more staff. the faculty approach for mentoeship was also top tier always trying hard to support students and give their best. also there are mentor wards conducted to give to guidance for future. When to comes to approchability it was a 10 out of 10 ,always always available and keen to help.

This is depend on teacher's behaviour towards the Student And the teacher's behaviour is good for student's because when we ask a question for teachers she replied very smoothly and talking sense is too good!! Overall i loved it

Amazing Delhi University College for women.

Safe environment - Because JMC is an all girls college, me and my friends always felt safe.
Friendly faculty - The teachers were very kind and understanding and very frank. If we had to get any rescheduled due to long gaps, they wild agree to do so very easily.

Dislikes

No air conditioner- There are no air conditioners in classrooms except in the library and the lab, however at such a low fee structure you cannot expect air conditioned classrooms
Slow office response - as with any college the college office takes a lot of time to provide you with any documents.

Faculty:

The faculty in JMC is highly qualified, they've completed their education from top b schools and are very efficient in taking student's feedbacks. Their teaching mechanisms are really effective and help you grasp concepts really quickly. Due to their frank nature approaching them for any doubt clearing session is very easy. A lot of the teachers are very young, hence having a conversation with them is like talking to a friend.

Amazing, genuine faculty, who not only taught well but also maintained a healthy and approachable relationship with students

Dislikes

The lack of exposure to placement and internship opportunities
No appropriate basic amenities occasionally, like a good working fan , a study chair/table etc especially during exam times.

Faculty:

I would say that the faculty in JMC is one of the best parts about the college. Not only are the professors well-equipped and qualified enough to provide apt and accurate education to all students but also are they extremely efficient in maintaining a one-on-one basis relationship with each student, not making a single one feel inferior to the rest. They make sure that they are always available, whether in person at the campus or on call/text whenever the student needs them.
