Admission:

I applied to IPU and I got a confirmed admission in one of the colleges which was very far away from my home. That's why I chose JMC because it's not that far, is way more affordable & is a reputed college in DU. I got rejections from a few colleges in DU because when they released their cut-offs, my marks were too low to clear the cut-off. I applied in JMC by Christian Quota so, the admission process is different than a general student. I provided my 10th and 12th mark sheet, a certificate from my church and they asked my top 3 preferences in courses, my applied preferences were Psychology, Sociology and Philosophy. Then the college released 2 lists for Christian Quota students and allotted them to different courses. Usually JMC takes interviews of students who have applied through Christian Quota but because I applied during Covid, we had no interview done. The admission process was smooth.

Admission:

The admission was done through a cuet score. I got 728/800 and jmc was my 7th preference college. The difficulty level is medium and a lot of course-related papers are repeated so there is not a lot of complexity in the preparation or source material. Everything is available at the library also.

Admission:

The eligibility for applying to a course it that one needs to pass the 10+2 pass criteria from any recognized Board. The cut-offs usually remain high to around 95% for most of the courses. The application form can be found in the official website of JMC and all the updates about fees and application dates will be provided on their official platform. The exam schedule is given by DU every year and the dates may change every year. The exams are held in two slots - Morning and Afternoon. The exam duration is of 3 hours. The exams are not difficult at all and those who have studied well can easily score good marks. The admission process is pretty effortless compared to other universities and may not require any change.

The process was simple we had to give a test that was cuet conducted by NTA we gave it according to out score and our preferred colleges list we are alloted colleges. All the dates, application were provided nythe site amd you have to keep in chech to all details provided. I would say reservation has great benefit if you have it you can jump from a low college to high in a snap. The area of improvement for admiision process can be where there is delay as at this time by now all other colleges has commenced their admission process so there begins a pressure on student to join college.

For bcom hons, you should have compulsorily opted for mathematics in class 11th and 12th. The Application Forms can be found in JMC's website unlike other DU colleges. You need to choose 3 courses as per your preferences, and depending on your percentage the college will allot you a course if you're eligible for any of the 3.

The course required a minimum of 50% aggregate in the 12th board examinations as well as required credentials to advocate and adhere to the standards of the college system. Since the admission process for me was online it required me to scan all of my required self-attested documents and upload it on the Delhi University website. Once they verify the documents they shortlist colleges for you based on your course preferences. Accordingly you can go ahead and choose your college and move on with following procedures. The admission process for me personally had been easy going and stress-free.
