JMC Selection Criteria

Admission to all the above-mentioned courses (except for B.El.Ed.) is based on merit.
Admission to B.El.Ed. will be granted on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam.
The merit will be decided on the basis of the percentage secured in the Best Four subjects in the 10+2 examinations.

Procedure for calculation of ‘Best Four’ subjects percentage for Honours Courses:

Percentage will be calculated on the basis of English and three other academic subjects.
All subjects to be included in the calculation of ‘Best Four’ must have at least a 70% theory component of the exam.
If the subject to be considered does not have a 70% theory component and 30% practical component, then the marks of theory and practical shall be converted to 70% and 30%, respectively on a pro-rata basis.

Jesus and Mary College has an excellent infrastructure. The campus features state-of-the-art facilities, well-equipped classrooms, and labs as well.
There are always events, seminars and cultural festivals going on which enrich the academic experience.

Dislikes

Proper cleaning of washrooms and the presence of soap and sanitary napkins in the washrooms must be ensured.
Upgrading classroom technology and providing more online learning resources can enhance the learning experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason why I chose this course is simple. I have a keen interest in the healthcare industry and I'm really passionate to learn about it. The course B.Voc. Health care management makes the students industry ready. This could be improved more if the students get chance for professional hospital visits every semester in order to gain practical knowledge. Exams are held in the end of every semester. The difficulty level of exams is not very high. They are moderate. If an individual has attended all the classes, has gone through all the topics taught, then they can do really good in the examinations.

Societies are active with a wide variety of activities happening every now and then.

Sometimes the administration is too slow in completing tasks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Healthcare is a vast industry. Since I'm from a science background I was interested towards this course. The curriculum is interesting, teaching us everything about managing a hospital. The exams are conducted in every semester. The level of the exams is easy to moderate depending on the grasping power of the student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If I talk about the course, it is pretty different from the common courses available at Delhi university. It is a blend of management and healthcare. You get to learn management skills and how to implement them in the healthcare sector. Opting for this course was one of the best choices as healthcare is the fastest-growing field in India itself. Also, it is the best course for the students who want to work in hospitals but not as the medical staff. The teachers and the whole faculty are humble and nice. You can talk about your doubts without any worries.
