- The first thing I liked about JMC was its environment and faculty. It's very safe.
- The canteen food was the ultimate comfort food for the students.
Dislikes
- Sometimes, the admin people were rude and they were lazy
- Way too much disciplined, felt like another school
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty is really good, one of the best around the university. The different societies and their activities make it to the point where you get in touch with the real world. Sometimes using presentations instead of written assignments would be better .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure was affordable, it was between 19-22000 Rs only. Every other fees was included within it, I didn't have to give anything apart from it. There are multiple scholarships options available depending upon the annual income of the parents, also since my college is a minority college, hence it provided the best opportunities for students to excel.
Campus Life :
JMC is known for its red bricks infrastructure. Very well ventilated, huge classrooms and seminar halls, 3- storey library, equipped with computer labs as well. Overall the college is wonderful. It has gardens, tennis court, football ground and a large open field for the atheletes.
Admission :
I got into JMC in my first list. And because my category I couldn't get History Honours in other du colleges. Therefore I opted for JMC itself. The college admission process is pretty daunting given the fact that there are alot of people fighting for a single seat in the most prestigious institutions of India
Faculty :
There are semester exams, internal assessments, presentations and group discussion which made the overall experience wholesome. The level of exam is competitive but the internal assessments make it possible to prepare beforehand.
