What's New in FIMT?
Fairfield Institute of Management and Technology admission 2024 is based on IPU CET. The last date to submit the IPUCET has been extended to April 15, 2024. Interested candidates can apply online on the official website @ipu.ac.in by paying INR 1500 as application fees. IPU CET 2024 will be conducted between April 27 and May 14. The college also accepts CUET UG Score for UG Admissions. CUET UG 2024 exam will be held from May 15 to May 31, 2024.

Fairfield Institute of Management and Technology, New Delhi is shortly known as FIMT was established in the year 2009 by the Fairfield Group of Institutions. Fairfield Institute of Management and Technology is affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). FIMT Admission
The admissions are based on the results of the corresponding IPU CET exams conducted by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. However, admissions to law courses i.e. BA LLB and BBA LLB will require CLAT UG 2022. The admission process for all courses is done online. - Library – The college has separate libraries for management, law and B.Ed. courses. It is facilitated with xerox facilities, reference services, computerization, periodicals and journals section.
- Moot Court – The Moot Court is an extracurricular field where students are allowed to participate in a simulated court proceeding.
- IT Department – The IT department consists of computer labs with the latest technological systems and excellent hardware.

Eligibility criteria for getting admission in FIMT is similar to CLAT. Student who wants to get admission in FIMT has to fill the GGSIPU form at official website of GGSIPU and the application fee is also very cheap.

12 pass of any board along with an appearance in the common law admission test(CLAT) is a must for admission in this course. Also, the application fees and application form process is controlled by IPU as our college is affiliated with it. Admission to colleges depends upon the candidate's rank in clat exam.

Dislikes
- The campus facilities are in poor condition and inadequate for student needs. Classrooms are having uncomfortatble seating and no air conditioning is there(as of 21/06/24). Washrooms are not clean and lift is there only for the shocase purpose.
- The college's career services and job placement efforts are severly lacking esspecially for the law students. The placement cell provisdes minimal guidance for resume writing, interview preparation or internship searches.
Admission:
As far as admission in the law department is concerned, the students are selected as per the scores obtained by the applicant in the CLAT examination. Firstly CLAT exam has to be given by the candidate and after that, he/she has to fill out the IPU admission form through the admission portal of GGSIPU. then as per the rank obtained by the candidate and under which category he/she is in, will be allotted the college affiliated with the GGSIPU.
Admission:
In my course that is law . For law you can give entrance exam that is common law admission test (clat) eligibility of the exam is only 12th pass. I got nothing in the name of reservation because i am general category student . But other reservations are available in that clat is easier in other competitive exams like neet, and etc .this exam conduct once in a year.

For this the main CUET is the eligibility criteria although they do have direct admissions as well. The college can be set according to preference in IP criterias and will be alloted accordingly. And for the admission process the ip rank and basic documentations are required

- Infrastructure of FIMT is good , college have 3 buildings and 1 auditorium.
- College have a cafeteria inside the campus so students don't have to go outside to eat something.
Dislikes
- Lift is not functional on daily basis but college only starts the lift on the day of Parents teacher meeting to bluff the parents.
- Some teachers are very mannerless ,they don't even know how to behave with students.
Admission:
Eligibility of the course is that you have to pass 12 th class and have given the CLAT exam to get admission in BBA.LB. Then you have to register yourself in the website of IPU to get the seat in the college . And the seat will be alloted according to your rank in the CLAT exam. Exams use to happen in the interval of around 3.5 month to 4 month . Suggestion for improvement in admission process is faculty who are doing admission should give some time to student also and show them the college and give them a walk around of the college.

There are two prime factor in eligibility of course, first student must attend CLAT or IPU CET and second must passed 12th exam with minimum 45% marks. - Minimum amount of exposure, the students do not get to interact with other colleges or students much therefore restricting the exposure and interaction which might hamper their overall growth.
- The remote location of the institution is not accessible easily. Usually public transport does not cater to the location making it unfeasible for the students and others to reach.
Admission:
The admission process began after the results of CLAT(common law admission test) were out. Usually the top nlu's acquire students till 2000 rank. As I scored 4000, so my next target was Indraprastha university and I registered for it. The admissions were done on the basis of clat rank, 3 rounds of counselling after filling the form and the list of desired colleges. The application form was available on its official site, ipu.ac.in and application fee varied at various levels. As it is a state based university, Delhi students get reservations along with the other reservations. The only aspect that I did not like was the delay that the university caused in release of the allotment list.
