Remarks :

The admission process was not very hectic it was straight forward. There are 2 cap rounds and there are institute quota rounds as well as vacancy round to fill the vacant seat. I got the AI&DS branch through cap round 2 but I got transferred to the IT branch in the institute quota round. Even transferring was a smooth process and there were no problems in admission as faculty members are very helpful during the entire process

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose IT as I was interested in this field. There are 1-2 professors for each subject and they are all very approachable. There are mentors as well who help you if you are facing any problems or difficulties they will guide you to tackle them. Most of the professors are Ph.D. some are pursuing Ph.D. as well. There are 2 term tests in each sem in which you have to get minimum marks after averaging or else you will get an internal kt.The difficulty depends on an individual and how he/she finds interest in the subject

Internships Opportunities :

Many companies come to our college for providing internship opportunities (Note that I am still in SE and haven't yet done an internship but will do an internship in the coming years) so I am not much aware of the roles offered in the internship. Companies like JP morgan provides internship and if you work well you directly get pre-placement offer

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees are quite high but there are scholarship programs that help needy students also there are quotas like ebc in which if you get very good marks you can get admission with a very negligible fee (Note: The cutoff for these seats is high as there are only 10% of the total department seats ). The name of the scholarship program is MOHAN T ADVANI SCHOLARSHIP(Blue star foundation), MUTHOOT M GEORGE. Note that there are eligibility criteria as well

Campus Life :

There are many committees in the college managed by students such as NSS, Rotaract club, E-cell, CSI, and Student's council. NSS and the Students council are social groups that conduct many social cause events like beach cleanup drives, visiting adopted villages by the committee, Menstrual hygiene training for girls, and many other such events.NSS is present in every college. The Rotaract club conducts sporting and party events. Classrooms are simple but good as it has a projector, smart board, and AC which is sufficient for a good learning atmosphere. The college doesn't have a proper campus we have one but it is a combined space for 3-4 colleges. We have 2 lifts and in case one of them doesn't work it is painful as we are left with no choice of either waiting or climbing to the 10th floor where our department is this is one of the problems

Placement Experience:

Talking about placements, most of the placements occurs in CSE and IT branch, but surprisingly in the Government College of Engineering Aurangabad, the Mechanical branch has the same placements comparatively just the fact is that the package is less.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As every Diploma passing student enters to degree college same process I went through. The faculty of the college are well educated and hardworking. As a student, you have to reach out to your faculty and maintain a good relation with them to get constant support from them. the ratio is 25:1. The teaching method of professors is very professional. Exams are as per the government regulations and the difficulty level is moderate for general students.

Placement Experience:

Students are encouraged to take internships from the moment they are confident and can handle responsibility. They are eligible for placements after semester 4. Approximately 60+ companies visit the campus every year and they take an average of 4-5 offers. For instance, the highest package can be 40+lpa from Microsoft. 90-100% placements happen every year. My plan after getting the degree is to acquire a placement and work with the organization.

Remarks:

The college Bajaj Institute of Technology, Wardha is very reputed college as it is Shiksha Mandal's college. I saw many advertisement about this college throughout the year and that's why choose to take admission in it.

Placement Experience:

Till now no company has visited. 2 students are selected and that is with their own efforts. Not having any job referral because hardly few students are placed. In startup one group won the hackathon and I guess they are doing their startup thing
