I really enjoyed the fee structure compared to other colleges very fewer fees were collected because we selected through government quota, and very good facilities are available at this campus I don't receive any scholarships like fees discount at all yearly they hike college & bus fees once.
The fee structure contains the tuition fees, labs, and libraries. The hostel fee structure had the accommodation fee, food costs, and laundry bills. I was eligible for a central government scholarship. Yes, I got my first job on the campus placement.
Fees vary with respect to whether the student is a merit student or a management student. 80,000 is the Government fee. Additional 50,000 for transportation fee(College Bus) and 95,000 for hostel students. Fees are quite high. Scholarships are brought by the faculties and they guide students in taking up the scholarship. First graduates, students who belong to SC, ST get fee reductions. Companies providing internships come to our college in 3rd year and students are selected through the recruitment process. These internships can become permanent jobs. Students get the opportunity to attend hands-on workshops, tech talks etc. The average company packages range from 6L pa.
The fees structure is pretty much comfortable because the fee is 87,000 totally, which is considerable and 50,000 for transport fee which is a bit high but the college being in the outskirts of the city the fees is unavoidable.
Fee is now 1,20,000. If we are unable to pay the fee at once we can request for installment. There are lots of scholarship you can get campus jobs are also available so one can enroll in it.
The fee structure is good they take upto 50000 to 70000 RS,the provide every year scholarships upto 60000 to 70000.They camps jobs are good, the maximum of the students get campus jobs with minimum pacage of 600000 per year
The college became autonomous in 2016 and the syllabus was revised and updated then, that is being followed now. In 2016, some topics were added, some altered and additions and deletions were made to the syllabus. The labs have all the equipments to train us for the industrial exposure and we were taken on industrial visits to the Neyveli nuclear power plant, Integral Coach Factory (ICT) in Guindy, Chennai and to the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). The minimum qualification of faculties in our college is PG and most have completed their PHDs.
Since it is an autonomous stream, syllabi are updated regularly to copeup with the technological trend. Once in a year Industrial visits are availed for students by faculties to learn about the real time scenarios. Each and every faculty is unique in his or her own ways
The college became autonomous, recently, in 2016 and the courses were updated and formulated then. The laboratories are known to have all the required facilities and equipments for years and that is maintained still. Only subject experts are enrolled as faculties in the college and most faculties can clear all our doubts and answer all our questions.
Course is designed so well till now. We have six subjects and 2 laboratories almost every semester. The curriculum is evenly distributed in all the semesters. When it comes to academics, the way they give us assignments could be changed into a more interesting way where we search and find out something new rather than writing class notes itself monotonously like Assignment. Faculties are pretty good and understanding mostly excepting a few. And the most irritating part is lab faculties. Every student deserves an Oscar if he/she finishes getting their record and observations corrected successfully. And they lack patience in teaching students ( certain labs not all). I feel it would be better if those faculties are more kind and understanding.
