Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering and Technology is a Telugu Minority Institution. The college was established in 1999. The college is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and approved with AICTE and NBA
- The college is an ISO 9001:2008 Certified
- The college started functioning from 2000-2001 with three braches Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering and Information Technology
- In 2002, the college introduced Electronics and Communication Engineering
- The college started Civil Engineering and Master of Computer Application (2003), Department of Master of Business Administration (2004) and Mechanical engineering (2005)
- It was started with 180 students, now there are 2043 students
- It is one of the best colleges in Tiruvellore district which give importance to students scoring good marks in their 12th standard. No tuition fees for first coming five students in all departments who scoring 90% and above. This is first come first serve basis

You must complete the 12th standard. And applying for the Anna University counselling by the cutoff marks which we obtained in 12th standard. They send the call letter for counselling through the post. Attend the counselling on a particular date and choose your college. The benefits of the reservation quota are the government will pay the tuition fees for the student and also provide an early once scholarship amount.

Admission is a very easy process, the college itself has it admission cell where they will help you with an end-to-end process, Even we can get admission through counselling also. The counselling code for admission to SRI VENKATESHWARA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY is 1124. We can take admission in both ways even by counselling or direct from college. The eligibility for all courses is a 12th pass. We can get the application form directly from the college and they charge 500 for a single application. There is also a reservation quota is also available we can get all the details regarding the reservation in the admission cell itself they will help you will all the processes they don't force, instead they will provide you with an easy process. According to me, no improvement is needed because they are giving their best for admissions.
Admission:
Overall it's a good college .but some negative points about the management it's not good and principal and staffs.they all are except from students it's money . only for this they all are working . Many fake promises are given by them.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Semester pattern here. Course curriculum will change every 6 month. Many staff members have become aspirants of receiving post graduation and Doctorates in their fields of specialization. The student to faculty ratio is duly maintained to effectively impart teaching learning process.

In our college the hostel facilities are worst and food which is provided for hostelers is very bad.the positive responce is not so expected compared to all the basic reqirements.our campus is a green campus.
