A. General(GEN), North East (NE), Defence (DEF), Paramilitary Force (PMF) & GTA Category (Yearly Fee):
- Lump sum: Rs. 1,10,000
- Instalments

- Second: Rs. 57,250
B. Sikkim Quota: 20% of the seats are reserved for candidates selected by Govt. of Sikkim, with concession of 75% of the Tuition fee. The fee structure after concession of Sikkim Quota are as follows (Yearly Fee):

- Instalments
- First: Rs. 36,500
- Second: Rs. 36,500

- The course fee will remain same for subsequent years. However, Caution Deposit (Refundable after completion of course) of Rs. 5,000/- which is not included in above table is to be paid at the time of admission along with applicable course fees

I am pursuing BCA course from Sikkim Manipal institute of technology and it is also a good course who want to do something in computer line but they don't have science stream and in my college I would prefer you that if you do btech from our college it's very good for you

- The environment for studies is very good as it is covered with mountains and helps one to concentrate in studies.
- Third thing which I liked was the environment surrounding the college which makes studying more concentrating.

- The campus is a bit small and have a few shops inside it.
- For any important needs one needs to get out of the campus which is again a bit far.
Course Curriculum Overview:
First of all the course BCA which i chose was because of the trend in market of Computers and AI and digital technology and my decision for the college and course never dissapointed me as college always focuses on curriculum and teaches as per the syllabus. Moreover the faculty never gives pressure to learn something only from books but they always ask one to work practically on the subjects taught. The subjects taught are in regular use in the real world. Here we are taught about the back-end and front-end site development , designing any websites and many more. Exams here in the college are conducted on a regular basis , say every month which includes internal exams such as quizzes and regular internals and a End Semester exam.

The Course is well crafted in order to not only provide the knowledge of subject matters but also to make students ready for Placements by inculcating various skills like reasoning skill, communication skill, management skills and many more.The Faculties are very strict regarding the Academics. They monitor the students regularly as a part of the Teacher-Guardain scheme where one Faculty is assigned for maximum of 15 students.

The course curriculum gets updated regularly. Students are provided with Ample amounts of extra classes, workshops, etc for any subject they feel difficult to cope with. Faculties are extremely supportive. They regularly monitor thier wards.

The college focuses on the overall development of the student rather than making them a book worm. Students are forced to do extra-curriculum activities and join any of the college clubs. There are more than 10 clubs in SMIT.

Both theoretical and practical aspect of every topic is covered in the class. There are assignments group projects and different industrial trainings which takes place. Course is highly relevant and makes student industry ready.

The faculties take a good care of students in terms of academics or extra curricular activities. A faculty monitors 15 students on a regular basis as per the Teacher-guardain scheme. Faculties are more like parents to us.
